Hi John. I actually highly discourage people from managing their accounts this way and I really which Google didn't even have this option. Here's why. So a teacher is signed into their school Chrome profile. Then they add their personal gmail account like you have described in your video. It's still under the school Chrome profile though. So lets say they switch to their gmail account, log into their banking account and save the credentials. Those credentials are now saved under the school's Chrome profile. Now I see you are using a Chromebook in this video, which the district may not allow the users to switch Chrome profiles without signing out. But if a teacher is using a Windows or Mac, I strongly encourage them to add a second Chrome profile and switch between the accounts that way. This way they can keep their school and personal passwords, bookmarks, and preferences separated. I would love to hear your thoughts about this and why you encourage this method of managing multiple Google accounts versus adding another Chrome profile.

There are a lot of unique factors that go Into managing multiple profiles. The device you use is one of them (Chromebook vs Mac or PC). I use my personal Gmail account for my chrome profile to avoid the issue you described. As you mentioned, there are many additional factors to consider when setting this up. The video provides a simple explanation. If someone is unsure of how they should set this up it would be best to chat with someone in their District who really understands the interaction between chrome and Google profiles.
