NICE !! thanks - i know there had to be a way to do Play/Pause and you showed me... and i was thinking i know i'm going to loose these wouldn't it be nice if "find my iPhone" worked with air pods... ( i actually said that to a friend today) but wow... it Does... Thanks again!!!
WHAT IPHONE GENERATION ARE YOU USING TO DEMONSTRATE? MY IPHONE 6 PLUS DOESN'T HAVE THOSE OPTIONS UNDER BLUETOOTH. I ONLY HAVE 2 OPTIONS: HANDS FREE & AIRPODS. ARE THESE JUST MY PHONE LIMITATIONS? THANK YOU
I sold my Airpods because I didn't think I used them enough, but then I missed them. I thought about getting the Bose fully wireless earbuds, but I settled on buying these again. I'm convinced that these are the best thing out.
I'm enjoying Canadas legalization at the moment and I am extremely high after a long day of work and correct me if I am wrong but did you just fault airpods @ 3:-09 for you not being able to get your podcasts onto your phone? That is a completely different issue and the airpods have nothing to do with it. If your podcasts can't be found on iTunes/Spotify or any platform compatible with your phone then you have the option to manually put any mp3/mp4 file into your Library which will solve that problem.
Just sticking up for the Airpods because I plan on getting a pair a year later xD
He mentioned something that other reviews haven't really mentioned. Airpods are notably quieter than Earpods (because of battery power vs wired power configuration). You can still crank em up, but the maximum volume of Airpods is definitely lower than Earpods
The only thing I don’t like about the airpods is the volume inconvenience. I thought the pause double tap was cool but if you take one of the AirPods out it will pause so To me it’s just the same ability in two different ways. Great video though !!
I wanted these so bad and I HATE THEM!!! I have them about a month now and the battery life is atrocious. I’m used to an lg lasting days and days before dying. So this is a great drawback for the price. Great video tho!!!
They state how many hours they will last in the product info, which you should always check before purchasing so you get the right fit for your needs.
Also, if you use one at a time, that will double the hours you can listen.
old video but I recently brought apple airpods and stumbled across this couple weeks later after buying them. today I learnt about the battery widget and find my airpods xD great video and keep up the great info! new sub.
I work next to a pump truck all day long and I’ve never had a problem with them being too quiet. That is listening to podcasts and not music. I read this about them a year ago and that’s why I waste a year with powerbeats 3 which kept messing up because of sweat. I would not suggest them to anyone. The rest of the video was great and helpful.
I have one question that I haven’t seen answered: how large are the AirPods? I have a cheap pair of knock-offs that I just wanted to try and see if I liked them (don’t judge lol); and they are large and can be kind of uncomfortable at times. I have been considering the AirPods (and the iWatch) but wanted to get some feedback on them. I guess I have smaller ear canals. Thanks for any info you can give!
Loved your review on the AirPods and showing simple but very useful tips /tutorial . I have one thing in common with you that I too carry a Bose which I used to use prior to getting Apple , I feel better that I don’t have to ditch my Bose :)
My iPods are very convenient for travelling on the coach and on the ferry home from the UK to Ireland, listening to music on my iPad, but I also have a non-Apple phone which is Bluetooth enabled and they work on that, as well as on my Chromebook, which also has Bluetooth - I do sometimes have issues with thier fitting properly in my ears and fearing them falling out and losing them, but they are way better than other Bluetooth headphones that I have tried, which turned out to be a waste of money - I do think that the basic design can be improved on in various respects, such as the case having an external case status or power level indication, different colours, more robust casing, a security wire to stop one from losing them if they fall out, optional noise cancelling function, ways to allow them to be connected to two Bluetooth devices at any one time, firmware upgrades to the case and headphones via any iOS device once plugged into a charger and ways to ensure a proper fit in the ears, as there are now many third party products on the market to complement the use of iPods
Thanks Steve, knew most of this, but learned one point... the caller ID. Just a suggestion... when you tap them, there is no need to use your whole hand. Just one finger will do. No need to beat yourself up, and it looks a lot more intelligent! LOL!
That is strange. I have used my AirPods in the airplane they worked for me. I am sorry that they didn’t work for you. I love the info about them. I have gotten mine and people that have seen them in my ears are asking me what are they. I tell them and they are shocked about how tiny they are. Great content. Thank you for sharing.
my AirPods will only work with one device at a time. If I am on my iMac listening to this video they work. but when someone calls me on my apple watch it won't switch over to pick up the call on the watch...it also unconnected with my iPad if I connect with my iMac. Annoying. I want the AirPods to pick up on any of my devices at all times without having to go to bluetooth each time and reset.
Many thanks for sharing those tips of how to make the best use of the AirPods. This set of device is truly revolutionary despite some of its downsides. I've owned one myself and found that there are indeed some minor problems such as the fact that the double-tap on the buds does not always work perfectly. But overall, the AirPods brings far more convenience than hassles.
I love my air pods. My only issue is that I’m afraid I’ll lose one and I never wear them outside the house. I don’t feel like they fit in my ears well. I am also afraid to talk and do housework around water i.e. the sink or tub because they fall out. I wish they would have an alarm for one ear when the other falls out when your not using them but just keeping them in your ears. Replacements are expensive too m
You talked about checking the battery level of the AirPods, but you didn’t show how it could be done. I learned this from another video that showed how to go to the widgets and adding that. I guess you assume that everyone knows how to do that. I didn’t I just learned how to. Thanks for your video anyway it was very helpful.
Correction-you were talking about listening to music on watch with pods...and continued to say that doesn’t work with podcasts( but you kept referring to phone with pods, but meant watch with pods don’t work with podcasts)
I pity the people who have to watch a video to learn how to use Airpods, which are the simplest and most straightforward product Apple has ever made. Open the box and stick them in your ears. Adjust the EQ on the iPhone and you're good to go, pairing is automatic. Sheesh.....
The problem is not that Facebook and Google are the only advertising platforms. The problem is that they are considered mainstream media and without these two, the trend of cryptocurrencies gaining legitimacy is delayed. That is right, I said delayed not blocked or prevented.
The World Has Changed.
Five years ago, when bitcoin was unknown to most people, this might have been a fatal move. Today is a different story. I recently traveled to a remote mountain town in the interior of Mexico. Everyone I met had heard about Bitcoin and eyes lit up with excitement when I ask if I could pay for lunch with bitcoin.
Today are dozens of websites dedicated to cryptocurrencies, either holding them, exchanging them or just writing about them. Probably the most effective advertising remains on Google, it is called Google Search and it is free.
If someone wants to learn about owning bitcoin or any other currency, there is a ton of educational information.

Not All Regulation Is Inherently Bad.
If we examine the full spectrum of regulation to this point on a global scale there is one common target most everywhere. That is the practice of exchanges. So far there has been little or not regulation, threatened or enacted, to protect investors from loss of funds due to security breaches.
Capitulation Is A Good Sign.
