Steve, can you cover an area larger than your screen when using the Web Clipper Screenshot function? Some times there is a web page containing an informative infographic which is longer than the screen. T.I.A
James Zerafa (3 months ago)
Right, I was wondering if one could scroll while dragging or something of the sort. Appreciate your hasty replies all the time! Keep it up.

Evernote, good innovation. Am beginning to enjoy its features great job'

It blows my mind that there isn't a shortcut for clipping/saving (at least that I've found) so your hands don't have to leave the keyboard. Anyone have a solution?

I keep having to sign back into the webclipper. Any idea why that's happening?
dottotech (1 year ago)
I suspect it has something to do with your Internet connection, Possibly changing IP addresses?

What if you clip on the real, real, real ...web clipper and it still doesn't work? That's what drives me crazy!
It was because I had reloaded my system, I had to go to google extensions and repaired and reinstalled clipper and other things.. Works fine
I have used the right one correctly for a long time. Now it suddenly does not work
freya sun (1 year ago)
My real clipper has a dot on the side, and when I click on it, it jump out another window says success loged in... and nothing more shows up..

What about for IE?
Gail Garwood (2 years ago)
Thanks once again, Steve. Moving to Mac and Safari from Windows and Firefox. Pulling my hair when Web Clipper didn't work and went through several google search answers before I found you. Google should have pushed you to the top 10 for this search.

+Gail Garwood Thanks Gail,

I am a constant and devoted user of Evernote and have been using Evernote Web Clipper for Chrome successfully for quite some time. All of a sudden in the past week (September 2015) the Clipper seems to have lost its mind - it will clip a page that is open in my browser but not necessarily the one I want to clip. Often, it seems to have a predilection to clip Facebook, if it's open. Have you heard anything about this. I have uninstalled the Clipper and reinstalled it, as well has having rebooted my computer and none of those things have solved the problem. Any ideas or information about this recent problem? Thanks very much. 9/7/2015

+PandKWebsterSt I would take this one to the Evernote support forum, sounds frustrating!

In your opinion is Evernote worth the money? particularly as now you have unlimited downloads per a month.
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Ryanthemagicalwizard If you don't need any of the premium services there is no need to spend the money. I know some people who use Evernote still use pocket for convenience, especially commuters who want to read and dispose of content rather than save it.
themagicalwizard (3 years ago)
+dottotech You see I did use it before this unlimited download option came about and that was what put me off as i using it to compile research whilst I was university but I would use my allowance far to quickly before the month was up. My other question would be how does this compare to things like 'Kippt' and 'Pocket'? I know they are slightly different services in that they don't encompass a whole life organisation service but do they allow for saving articles forever or adding notes as well?
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Ryanthemagicalwizard Yes, I pay and it is worth it, to me. I use features like the email functionality daily, (sending email to my EN account).

I stormed the castle today and slayed the elephant with my handy dandy clipper! This was a terrific video and I now want to clip, clip, clip everything I see. I am an Evernote addict and with you guiding me across the moat to install it so it actually works, you fed my inner beast. Now I am in command of all I see. Onward to the next castle!
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Bernice Johnston Wow, glad you liked the video!
" i think there is something wrong with my computer , or me or you , hahahaha ...!
Leonardo Bernardes (3 years ago)
Hello, could you comment on the difference between webclipper and clearly? Thank you very much!
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Leonardo Bernardes Clearly strips away ads and extra content from web pages, WebClipper captures pages to Evernote

+dottotech Hi Steve. Could you please explain to me how i can connect my iOS calendar app to evernote? I already allowed evernote to access my calendar app. Is it possible to create an event with my iOS evernote app and then getting this information directly transferred  to my calendar app?
MroOBOBOo (3 years ago)
Thanks for the response. Your videos are really great. I recently watched a lot of your videos and decided to use Sunrise for this purpose.
dottotech (3 years ago)
+MroOBOBOo I don't know of any direct way, perhaps you can find an IFTTT script that would create a note from a iOS event, but I came up blank

Another Great video on Evernote Web Cliper!

In actuality, the Firefox plugin for Web Clipper on Mac ( maybe Windows, I don't know) is woefully bad.  It absolutely does NOT work as the plugin for Chrome and Safari. Not sure why the developer just decided to be lazy on that particular plugin but wow it's very lame.  On Safari/Chrome, it's awesome!
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Korky Kathman I agree completely!
Vishal Kataria (3 years ago)
Thanks Steve. I agree that the Web Clipper is a fabulous extension. 1 problem I'm facing (and the Evernote team hasn't responded) is the inability to install the extension for Chrome on the iPad mini. It keeps telling me to set a reminder to download it for the desktop. Please help me. Happy New Year!
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Vishal Kataria Check your browser and see if it is already installed, Click on the share button in Safari and see if the web clipper is there.
Vishal Kataria (3 years ago)
Hi Steve +dottotech . I've installed the web clipper extension for Chrome on my Macbook. And it works like a charm. But when I go to the Chrome store on the iPad mini (I use chrome on the mini also) and click on the link to download the same extension, it displays a messaging asking me to set a reminder to install it on the desktop site. Even the Evernote support team hasn't responded yet...
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Vishal Kataria I am not sure what issues you are having, have you clicked on the share icon to see if you can clip the page? Check this post... @blog/2014/09/17/new-evernote-ios-8-web-clipping-quick-notes/

Did everything you suggested and I still can't find it on my Chrome on PC.

Tried it again and got it to work.  Thanks for the video!

What is the Evernote web clipper  PLUS  work  ? and how does it work buddy  !
dottotech (3 years ago)
+Todd Mummert I'm not sure exactly what you're afraid to Todd, But I suspect that you are looking at Evernote web clipper, And Evernote work chat, Which is Evernote's new built-in chat interface, we did a demo on it a few weeks ago. Does that make sense?
Randy Lantz (3 years ago)
And you will be happy ... And I will be happy ... lol
Peter Lewis (3 years ago)
Wilco, wing-commander, web-clipper doo-dah absorbed. Out.
