Ok, but I don' get it...once you do all the things you just showed, what is next? I mean then the Buffer is posting those things that you scheduled by itself or what?
I am sorry if this is stupid question, but I am super new in all of those digital things so I have no clue how it woks, but would love to learn it :). Thanks for answer and have a great day :)
Steve, great video. What tool are you using to get your mobile device recorded on the screen (toward the end of the video)? We have developed a time and billing application, Mango Billing (https://mangobilling.com) and are starting video production for tutorials etc. I need to also screen record the mobile app so it would be helpful to know. Thanks in advance if you could share!
There are several ways, I use Screenflow on a Mac, but you can ue Camtasia on a PC.
We have a tutorial on how we do our videos....
Steve! I used to watch DottoTech on Access years ago. Happy to see you're still in the game and putting out fantastic, educational content. Youtube is a great platform for you. Loved the video. Was considering hootsuite but will give Buffer a try.
Question! When I'm setting my account on Buffer for the first time I want to sign up with my Admin Facebook Username & Password or I want to set up the account with my actual managed page Username ? Because, I manage two Facebook business pages, I don't have separate passwords for them. Both business pages are accessed through my personal Admin Username & Password details in order to gain access and post to the two business pages. And then also, if I do sign up with my personal Admin details, what happens when I want to post to each one of my business pages separately? How does that work through the Buffer platform ? ? Please, clarify!
Thanks for the video! Did you try our tool dataddo.com ?

What are your thoughts on eClincher? That's what I'm using right now. I've recently decided to subscribe, but I'm still looking for opinions. Right now I feel it's a great tool with an awesome pricing. However I don't seem to get many reviews on it. Hope to hear back from you!
Great video! Very useful information for social media marketing (beginners too!). I would emphasize also how important analytics are. I always use url shortener www.capsulink.com for my links on social media and get insightful analytics of how the links I post on social media are doing (and also it makes the posts look more professional and trustworthy).
We appreciate this a great deal! We were on the fence between Buffer and hootsuite. We may still use hootsuite for research purposes, but buffer will be our primary tool to manage our output of social content.
*_I couldn’t say no to something like (_**_https://twitter.com/MouaJune/status/911557181819854848_**_ ) when I first heard about it and I don’t think that anyone with good senses can reject a thing as beautiful as app because it is a dream come true sort of thing for the people associated with binary option trading. A lot of apps beguiled the people with fake promises but this app is just perfect._*
Thank you for making this video - we are thinking of using Buffer and your video convinced us of it. I also have a question for you... we love the screen capture video you have in this video with just your outline as you switch between screens - how did you do that? We would love to have some of our own training videos for students in our wisdom campus, and for staff training videos. Thank you so much for the great video on Buffer!
Thank you for this video, as I am seeking to begin using Buffer for helping make our social media communication more efficient. All of your videos have been incredibly helpful to me, especially the tips you have shared about Gmail integration with other apps like Todoist, Boomerang Calendar, using filters, etc. The one video you did regarding Google Forms was REALLY helpful to me for creating a VBS registration form for our church. Thank you again and I'm a subscriber to your channel and newsletter too.
Thanks Steve. 10 minutes later and I scheduled my first Facebook post on Buffer. I'm a long-time Hootsuite user, but I've switched thanks to you. Tomorrow I'll post for the rest of the week. No more slaving to the clock.
You're the best!
Gladys Jeannette Screenflow is my guess. He's done a number of videos as to how he uses the program to create his videos. It's about -100 dollars on Mac-pcs can use Camtasia (they have it on the max too). Camtasia unfortunately is 300 dollars on Pc (cheaper on Mac and works the same). There is also Capto which is 30 or so dollars. I hope that helps!
Hi Steve, I couldn't find an appropriate video to post this question on, but I really need some guidance on this one.
Is there a way to track how many times you liked a specific Instagram account's photos? This is most relevant for an affiliate program my wife is part of and we need an efficient way to do that.
This app is awesome. I've been using Hootsuite for a couple years but all I could do is post to my Facebook page. Buffer allows me to use Feedly to view my blogs, and click the "Buffer" button to schedule a post for later. This is something I see a lot of potential with.
Buffer is great been using it for years. I just love hearing Steve talk about tech that even if I already use the app I'll still watch the video and I'm still astonished at how much I learn. I did not know Buffer was available on the web and the interface looks great. At 4:53 I'm wondering if that screen allows you to choose the thumbnail that is displayed with the link on Twitter for example how people create clickbait links. I don't condone this behavior, but I would like some control over the thumbnail that is displayed on links posted on Twitter because around 90% of the time the thumbnail isn't a good one or it doesn't display anything at all. That I do believe effects how many people actually view the post instead of scrolling past it.
Keep up the great work Steve.
Hi Steve, Very nice video. Did I understand the free option correctly...for example, could I take my one Twitter account that I devote to Tech news and "facilitate" that single Twitter account via Buffer for free?
Great video, Steve. I like that you didn't just discuss the features, but showed how to apply it in the 'real world'. I've heard a lot about CoSchedule lately and people switching from Buffer to CoSchedule. Do you any thoughts on the matter?
One thing to look at would be the free to try on Buffer. I have only used Buffer. Does what it says for free for life, but it is limited I think to a queue of 10 posts. Sometimes I have a lot of ideas that I write in there for tweets that I don't want to overload my followers with at the same time. It gets pretty loaded constantly and I'm not a daily user of Twitter or anything. That considered Buffer is great, but it is a trial app that must be paid for to enjoy the full version.
Hi Steve, thanks for the video. Question, back in November you did a comparison video with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Agora. Didn't mention Buffer so is Buffer new to you and why do you prefer it to the other managers you mentioned? Thanks!
That video included a comparison from Ian Anderson Grey, he included Sprout in his post. I have never used Sprout. I covered AgoraPulse andHootsuitre in that video, but not Buffer because it was looking at more full featured dashboards, Buffer is only a curation tool in my setup, and has been for a few years.
I've had a beard since being discharged from the Marine Corps in 1968. When you have enough facial hair, like you, any beard is great! How you sculpt it is your Branding, right! Well, IMO that's what it becomes.
I love the look and you've always attempted to be a little left of center, or was that right of center...:))
As I'm a designer, I like font names. The link below is a typography beard guide infographic. Based on this chart your current beard would be paired with Gill Sans. If you decide to grow and shape your beard - more name options. :)
The problem is not that Facebook and Google are the only advertising platforms. The problem is that they are considered mainstream media and without these two, the trend of cryptocurrencies gaining legitimacy is delayed. That is right, I said delayed not blocked or prevented.
The World Has Changed.
Five years ago, when bitcoin was unknown to most people, this might have been a fatal move. Today is a different story. I recently traveled to a remote mountain town in the interior of Mexico. Everyone I met had heard about Bitcoin and eyes lit up with excitement when I ask if I could pay for lunch with bitcoin.
Today are dozens of websites dedicated to cryptocurrencies, either holding them, exchanging them or just writing about them. Probably the most effective advertising remains on Google, it is called Google Search and it is free.
If someone wants to learn about owning bitcoin or any other currency, there is a ton of educational information.

Not All Regulation Is Inherently Bad.
If we examine the full spectrum of regulation to this point on a global scale there is one common target most everywhere. That is the practice of exchanges. So far there has been little or not regulation, threatened or enacted, to protect investors from loss of funds due to security breaches.
