I have some old reels like the Mitchell 300 and these super lines , such as braid lines do not work with the old reels . So if I want to use the braid I have to buy a new reel to use it No problem with using the carbon lines just the braided lines . There was one other floating bait that was out when power bait came out and it was Rocky Mountain Gold it worked better then the power bait did , but I have not seen that bait for years

I grew up about not to far from spirit lake and grew up fishing with Berkley products. Love all of their products and couldn't be happier with the quality of the products.

Berkley, I have been trying to find the powerbait sabertail bugs but have had no luck. Is there a way to order them directly from berkley or are they no longer in production? They are a great bait for small and largemouth bass, as well as northern pike and I would love to be able to get a few more packs.

Something this market really needs is a gulp roe that would catch salmon steelhead/trout. You can't beat real roe nothing comes close. Problem is you have to kill a fish. Get the eggs, cure, it don't stay on the hook that well. Please berkley scientist do it. Need some big ol roe clusters that some kings would bite.

This is the kind of job I would actually love and look forward to going to. I've been a Berkley fan for over twenty years. My two largest bass have been on Berkley Power Worms. Such a great product!

Wow.........this video was far more interesting than I thought it would be. I've been using many Berkley fishing products for decades, from lures, to fishing line. I still swear by your Berkley/Trilene Big Game mono and Trilene XL mono lines. As a bass fisherman here in central Florida since 1969 at 7 years old, and fishing today now more than ever........I have ran the gammut of different fishing lines........all the expensive top-of-the-line stuff from all the best companies for fluorocarbon and braid. But in the past couple years, I have "come back home" to good old fashioned mono. And most of my line troubles & issues ( mainly "break-offs" ) have disappeared. As far as I'm concerned, good mono is KING......and it's here to stay. Your Big Game & XL mono lines work great for me, and priced right, as I use 10 different rod & reel set-ups to cover all types of bass fishing.

Had trouble with the 4-inch Emerald shiner gulp minnows. Once you take them out of the package they harden up while fishing in 60° and below water temps. What happened? Love the Berkley dredger crankbaits. Had to change out the split rings and hooks but that's to be expected I guess :-( ... Would love to see anybody put out a crankbait with good stock rings and hooks. Got A 10.48 pounder on the 14.1 this fall. BTW thanks.

I love and I enjoy using Berkley powerbait & Berkley gulp alive when I'm fishing for trout. The best there is & the best there will ever be. Berkley is number 1

Great video. I really like Berkley Trilene Line. It's the only line I use. Even if it is braid, monofilament,or fluorocarbon I only use Trilene.
Thats Awesome, I want a job here.

the problem is like most human instinct is that once they have success and are making money they forget aboutwhat they are in business for to begin with and when the checks are rolling in who cares about quality bc the numbers keep looking good but in this industry quality and results matter so the guy with the true bass fishing heart will wind up on top this business
Berkley Fishing (1 year ago)
Hi, Nicholas. We agree that quality is of the utmost importance. We'd love to hear any feedback you have that we can keep in mind as we develop future products. Feel free to contact consumer service at [email protected] or (800) 237-5539. Thanks!

Berkley, back in the day I used Trilene pro-select tournament strength mono in phantom green and was happy with the color and limpness. Do you make anything comparable to that now?
need2fish (1 year ago)
Thanks, I will try it.

Hi, thanks for your question! We recommend trying our Trilene Big Game line which comes in two different shades of green. Here's the link: http://www.berkley-fishing.com/berkley-line-monofilament-berkley-big-game/berkley-trilene-big-game/1285546.html

I'm hoping that this is read by someone with Berkley. You need to make products for the muskie fishing market. Muskie fishing is the fastest growing segment in freshwater fishing in North America. Products like super large 9 to 12 to 15 inch Gulp swimbaits or jerkshad minnows with hooks and 1 to 3 oz jig heads to match, large 12 inch shallow and 30 feet deep diving crankbaits, super strong snaps and ball bearing swivels, large spinner blades and spinnerbaits, etc. You're missing out on potential sales. Thank you.
Berkley Fishing (1 year ago)
Hi @MsPrincesspaulina! We really appreciate your feedback. We will pass your recommendation to our product development team for future consideration.
MsPrincesspaulina (1 year ago)
Iowa has some great muskie fishing right outside your door. I wish your team the best and look forward to seeing what products they bring to market for the muskie fisherman. Personally, I'd like to see a 12 to 16 inch Gulp Alive Minnow, Ripple Shad, or Jerk Shad. If your product team thinks those are to large then they should know that some of the competitors are making non-scented soft plastic baits that weigh a pound or more for muskie fishing and these lures are very popular and catch big fish.
Berkley Fishing (1 year ago)
We appreciate your insight! We'll definitely share this information with our team.
MsPrincesspaulina (1 year ago)
Thanks for your reply. It's nice to know that I, the public, are being listened to. Have your product team look at muskie videos here on youtube to see what is popular already. Soft plastic baits are huge now for muskies but none of them are scented like gulp or powerbait. Large deep diving crankbaits are lacking, somewhat, as most only get to 15 to 20 feet deep. Have them look at lures like the Cowgirl spinners. Lastly, have them read the muskie fishing message boards on the web. Good luck!

This is great feedback! Thanks for your recommendation. We'll pass it along to our product team.
