This method works - the video is perfectly legitimate. Thank you for your time to make it and help us. I have one more advice for people watching this. Now, since the last update, it seems like there is also another option to receive all the e-mails from other accounts directly inside your Gmail inbox without forwarding. Settings are right below options you described. Again, thanks for the tech advice. If you ever need some business advice I am also inviting to my channel. Cheers!

in my experience, if you're just looking to move you data from one account to another it's much simpler to use a third-party app like g-transfer than spend time doing everything manually...

I had to look elsewhere to find out how to forward all the spam as my ultimate goal is to run 10 emails and only log into 1. Is the best way to set up filters to forward everything using keywords?

Andy Traub - this is helpful, thanks! But help, this is what I am getting - Send mail through your SMTP server Configure your mail to be sent through fivecapitals.net SMTP servers Learn more SMTP Server: Port: Username: Password: Secured connection using TLS (recommended) Secured connection using SSL Authentication failed. Please check your username/password. [Server response: DNS Error: Address resolution of smtp.fivecapitals.net. failed: Domain name not found code(0) ]

+Andy Traub Another quick question :) - are you familiar with Microsoft outlook app for email? I am trying to get that email forwarded on as well, but am struggling to find where I do that? All my google searches haven't helped me?

+Andy Traub Thanks Andy - so sounds like I should connect with my web guy?! :) Nothing else I should check on my end?
Andy Traub (2 years ago)
+Mikaela Kate Schaefer Depending on your email host that you have set up for fivecapitals.net you may need to do something on their side to allow for the Send Mail As feature to work. I have a Google Apps account and I had to go in and check a box deep in the settings to allow that email address to be used as a Send Mail As address. Lastly, reach out to your host that handles your website to clarify that you're using the correct settings with your email address. Good luck.

How do you set up two inboxes from two different gmail accounts within the same inbox, like yours is displayed in this video?

Thanks for a great tutorial :)

Whenever something breaks in my system I just delete the connection and reestablish it. So try that. Just make sure you have your passwords handy and if you use Chrome you can use an incognito window to open two windows and send test messages between the accounts. Hope that helps.

Great tutorial buddy :) i have the custom email for domain from google apps. but for sometime now i cant receive emails from google accounts only but i receive emails from yahoo and other providers . any help??

IN the long run I think convenience comes at a price and so if you have to pay for a little extra storage for your gmail accounts for them all to be combined it's worth it. AND the storage is cheap - Just Google - Buy more Gmail storage. I say combine them. That's what I did. Disclaimer - the decision is up to you!

Please suggest me, how should i handle this. Should i use my personal Gmail account to setup or I will have to do this setup in one of my Gmail Apps account.

Hi Andy.. Thanks for an understandable walk through. I'm using 4 Gmail Apps accounts for work. I have already set many filters for all different accounts & I'm also connected to apps like dropbox, CRMs etc.. If i want to set up common inbox, I think i have to setup everything from scratch. I'm also quite worried about the space i'm utilising. Because, the space will also be combined 10GB instead of 25 GB each x 4 = 100 GB i'm using now.

I'm not gonna tell you to delete any accounts. Too much responsibility if that goes wrong! HOpe you got it figured out.
Andy Traub (5 years ago)
You'll need to use the Gmail app to get the functionality to REPLY to any message from ANY address. You might be able to use the Mail app to reply from whatever address it was sent to. Guess the bottom line is you have to use Gmail's app if you want gmail's features.

Hey Andy! Love your tutorials bud! Question for you, I have several of my email addresses coming into my personal gmail just like you show here, but the problem I have is responding from email on my iPhone using the native iPhone App. I can't respond as the email account I'm importing unless I've set it up as a separate account on my phone. Do you have any other ideas? I've used the GMail app itself and that works, but not a fan of the App itself..would love your input. Hope all is well with u!!
