Missy VanHorn (6 months ago)
So you have to have Evernote premium to use it with google drive?

Nicky Ovitt (1 year ago)
Thank you... this might help with my creating a CRM with Evernote. I like your tutorials!

Hey Steve quick question. For your productivity workflow, what type of data lives in Evernote and what type lives in google drive? What do you use each service for that makes them serve different functions? Thanks
Jim Chandler (1 year ago)
Great video, Steve! Can you connect multiple Google Drive accounts to Evernote? I have Google Drive active on 3 different email accounts.

Hi steve, Thank you for your videos. Is there a way to take documents/Notbooks/Notes out from Evernote to google drive?
dottotech (2 years ago)
You can export them as PDF.

Evernote Basic on OS El Capitan, but I don't have the Google Drive icon!
dottotech (2 years ago)
Check on the Evernote product forum, see if they know what the issue is.

Steve, am I wrong in noticing that your hair gets shorter and your beard longer? Please do not go into hibernation in winter. keep up the good work.

I will try and stay awake!

+dottotech don't be sad. there are way better apps than evernote nowadays. you can learn and teach them too
dottotech (2 years ago)
So young, makes me wish I had spent more time with it.....:-(

I'm using the Apple Notes stock app, and is MUCH better than Evernote. Works on my Macs and PCs too :)
Demian Manzur (2 years ago)
Hey Dotto, your website has just been hacked or you upload the wrong file or something like that. You better go to google webmaster and fix it before it gets worst. Anything i can help, but sure you can do it.

I left evernote after years of use when they limited my devices. Switched to One Note. it was a good move.

Ever since I watched your first video on Evernote, I have been storing every scrap of paper with The program. It is amazing for keeping organized. Now Google drive integration. My only concern would be privacy with Google drive. Great job!
nr3rful (2 years ago)
ok what am I missing ? I don't see the icon
share apps3 (7 months ago)
me too i dont have it
Gil Michelini (2 years ago)
Same here on the Windows desktop client.
dottotech (2 years ago)
What OS are you in?
Roger Mills (2 years ago)
That's it? That seems so simple. This isn't some huge technological breakthrough is it? Why didn't Evernote do this with all the storage services two years ago?
dottotech (2 years ago)
Fair question
John Reid (2 years ago)
the Icon is not showing up on my Desktop
nr3rful (2 years ago)
mine either ????????

Great video, Steve, good job as usual.

I tried this on my Win 10 PC. There' no Google Drive icon. Iv'e checked that I have the latest version and I do. I pay for the Plus version. Is it only available on the Premium?
Martin Hampton (2 years ago)
Thanks. I checked the Web version after I posted.

I have Plus and it works fine for web version, but doesn't work for desktop. Evernote has not done a good job of introducing this feature. It has been around for a while, but was in beta. But it looks like it was in beta for premium users. I would upgrade to premium if this works for desktop, but the feedback seems to be all over the board in terms of how it's being implemented.

I'm still waiting for the Windows client update but I have used it on the web version of Evernote as well as on Android and it is pretty useful. It works really well with my lesson plans. I build the lesson plan on Evernote and pull in the class worksheets from Google Drive. It is extremely handy when I am in class. Everything is right there. However, it is important for folks to have clear that this is only a nifty link, or short cut, to a Google Drive file and by no means does Evernote include the contents from the Google Doc in its own search. Looking forward, I would love to see thumbnails of my Google Drive documents, spreadsheets, and slides. Maybe I'm just doing some wishful thinking here :-)

Planning on integrating them soon, but how would it work if both my GDrive & Evernote are organized into folders? Do I just go through GDrive to find the individual files, because I wouldn't mind doing that?! Thanks for the great video, Steve!
Mike Bruschke (2 years ago)
I really liked the idea of it, when it came out. But that it just throws everything on your Google Drive at you, when you add a file, without any folder structure, makes it a pain to use.
Valarie Revels (2 years ago)
Love the search feature and started moving some large docs from computer and OneNote to Google Drive because of EN and Drive integration. Didn't know if desktop version was working. There isn't much info at EN website about the feature.

Thank you for showing us this "marriage made in the cloud". P.S.: You look warmly professorial ...
John Tomlinson (2 years ago)
Shame. not all premium users have this integration.
Holmes245 (2 years ago)
I'm using the Windows version but I have the latest beta (6.3.2.3429) nstalled so maybe that's why I'm seeing it on my version. I have a Google Drive button I"m seeing on my formatting bar so it should be coming soon if you're not using the beta.
John Tomlinson (2 years ago)
It has yet to arrive to windows users. Ony available to Apple users.
Holmes245 (2 years ago)
What do you mean? If you have a premium subscription, you should have it.
Redowan Nafi (2 years ago)
evernote == lameness overloaded the new barrier crippled the free version and the pro is never going to be worth it for me
KiRaShi KReaTiVe (2 years ago)
That looks kind of cool +Enrico Schwass, thank for sharing! Unfortunately, I'm a stickler for well-designed graphical User Experiences, so I'll just have to wait a while longer for a real client to come along.
Enrico Schwass (2 years ago)
+KiRaShi KReaTive Have you heard aboutthis little tool?. https://www.geeknote.me
KiRaShi KReaTiVe (2 years ago)
While you have a valid point in paying for software that positively improves our lives, I too am a little hesitant to purchase it as there's still no Linux Client available for the Debian install on my Laptop.
Redowan Nafi (2 years ago)
+Knights Of Ni go pay for whatever you like. Just because I wont pay for a note taking app that went retarded doesnt mean I'm cheap. Go get a life and dont hurl at random people.
nr3rful (2 years ago)
than get the "Plus". I have it and not that expensive
Barry McAlister (2 years ago)
When this first rolled out I thought it was about time. However, since then i haven't used it. It easier to just copy one's document or photo to Evernote and not worry about losing the link. The only exception is a living document.
