Utility Billing Extra Tips 1 - Move Out Hi this is Zac Kibria and this video will show you how to easily move out your customers. In this informative video, I will be showing you one of the features in our platform which is to give customers the ability to move out on their own. However, if you do not want customers to be able to move out themselves it’s important to note that this option is configurable and can be easily disabled. Excellent- now to allow customers to move out there are a few steps that must be undertaken. To get into the move out screen, first you will want to search for a customer in the search field and once you have found them you will click the services tab and then click the red move out button. This will open a screen where you will want to fill out all the required fields. Once you are done click Continue move out (once you click this the move out is final). That’s it. now you have easily moved out your customer. Note that clicking the move out and transfer button will move out the customers and then display the transfer page. This allows you to assign a meter to a new customer. Additionally, instead of again inputting addresses and meter details – these are carried over for the new customer via transfer page. Just a quick note on the move out screen.. When you go to meter, move out the next screen populates the address details and requires only two items to be added.. 1) the final reading and 2) the date the customer moved out. All other data will be auto populated. In this instance there was no customer location information assigned to the meter therefore no data was populated in the screen. If you experience this simply ensure under meter details you have address information populated before completing the move out.
