PinJimin is gold prestige, with the Ice Mask to show that no, those doritos didn't just come from Risryn. I had to splice together a lot of different fragments together from several matches all in the same night, since he apparently is allergic to rematching, ever. I'd love to throw down with him for a dozen or so matches in sequence, but I ended up getting four separate sets with him.
While I lose the the first set of three (spoilers!), it's by a hair's breadth, and you can say the tipping point was the final bad heal exchange where I lose my two stacks early and he gets a game-sealing amount of mileage from his.
However, I adapt to his hyperaggressive Kahlt playstyle in our next three sets that evening. He's better at securing absorb turnarounds, so I throw in lots of resets in my chains to bait out and punish whiffed absorbs or at the very least avoid being punished, and utilize spacing to wind up powerful Side Kicks. He doesn't adapt to my radically changed playstyle in turn, and so I take the other three sets of the evening quite decisively. I bean him with an Obvious Slash from neutral to seal the deal. Definitely going to have to make a montage of Obvious Slash round wins at some point.
You'll notice a lot of weird jumps. I've pinned down the source of introduced audio/video desync on processing; any time the original source material hangs, I have to cut a large swathe of footage out "around" it or else my software introduces a desync at that point, only resyncing at the start of the next segment. I'm definitely going to need to start recording with OBS proper and see if recording failures are localized to nVidia Experience itself.
I don't put any background music to these videos because it would obscure the game SFX. I don't even listen to music while playing. If you want to watch this for entertainment, rather than educational value, then I suggest you put on some of your own personal favorite tunes.
