Choosing between Google's G Suite & Microsoft Office 365
As promised here we go on more details about the cloud tools for business. I met Olivier Perez, CEO & Founder of Enigma.swiss, a leading brand and advertising agency and talked with him about how they decided for the right cloud tool for their company - even regarding Power Point, Keynote and Slides. They tried various tools before such as Server, dropbox, Drive and early on the Apple tools, when they realized that they needed something with better collaboration features. Evaluating all cons and pros of different tools (G Suite former Google Apps for Work or Google Apps vs Microsoft Office 365, Keynote, Slides and Powerpoint) regarding to the specific benefits that the tool would bring to the company as well as the downsides (e.g. will people within the company be able to use it, do clients accept it?). The key learning for him was to judge about each tool individually and not compare it on a feature to feature basis to the old one. He said they believes that if you want to be in the future, you have to work in the future. I cannot agree more. But see yourself and let me know if you have any questions. While co-founding and running a successful food recovery program in college dining halls, Ben Simon discovered that six billion pounds of produce were going to waste each year in the U.S. alone. Farmers were forced to discard produce simply because the fruits and vegetables didn’t look uniform—perfectly delicious produce with imperfect exteriors were unsellable to grocers.
