Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Jools Holland, Phil Collins, Pino Palladino, Ray Cooper - Music for Montserrat @ Royal Albert Hall London 1997 (remastered in sound an video to widescreen) Music For Montserrat was a concert held on 15 September 1997 at the Royal Albert Hall. Musicians came together to raise funds for the Caribbean island of Montserrat after a major volcanic eruption by the Soufrière Hills volcano earlier that year left the island, including its capital of Plymouth, devastated. Lyrics: I'm sorry baby, but I can't afford to stay Your good, kind treatment will worry me someday I love you baby, but I'm know I have to say goodbye Woman I got to move, I really got to fly Hey hey, same thing every morning Tell me what's it all about I get those same old blues every night, every night I miss you already baby, more than words can say Seems like I've been gone twenty-four hours, more like a million days I love you baby, you know I wouldn't tell you no lies If you don't believe I love you, look at the tears standing in my eyes Hey, same thing every morning Tell me what's it all about I get those same old blues every night, every night Here I am back home baby, I'm back home to stay I love you babe, never more will I go away I won't hurt you no more baby, ain't gonna tell you no more lies No more running 'round, no more phony alibis Hey, same thing every morning What's it all about I get those same old blues every night Same thing every morning Tell me what's it all about I get those same old blues every night Hey hey, same thing every morning Tell me what's it all about I get those same old blues every night, every night

Mark Knopfler - Brothers in Arms [Music for Montserrat ~ HD]

I thought it was time to upload this in better quality. Mark Knopfler performing one of the best verions ever of "Brothers in Arms" during "Music for Montserrat", live from Royal Albert Hall, London - 15 September 1997. Mark Knopfler - vocals, guitar Guy Fletcher - Keyboards Phil Palmer - guitar Ray Cooper - ardourly percussion And an unknown accordion guy On the evening of September 15, 1997, legendary British music producer George Martin (who had risen to prominence with the Beatles) held a benefit concert at London's Royal Albert Hall for the small Caribbean island of Montserrat, which had recently been devastated by a volcanic eruption. All of the invited superstars had recorded some of their biggest hits at Montserrat's Air Studios, which Martin had founded in 1970, and this shared history gives Music for Montserrat an added sense of enjoyment among friends. Despite a few vocal dropouts and forgivable mixing problems, this outstanding concert has been captured with impressive fidelity, and while each artist performs songs appropriate to the occasion, they share the stage (along with a house band, choir, and orchestra conducted by Martin) in brilliant combinations that bring out the best in everyone involved. The show hits full stride with Mark Knopfler's exquisite "Brothers in Arms," which segues nicely into "Money for Nothing" with guest vocals by Sting, who then performs two hits from his Police years. And while Elton John and Eric Clapton form the centerpiece of the concert (especially Clapton and Knopfler's acoustic "Layla"), by which time Music for Montserrat had given its royal audience a show they would never forget. Enjoy!

Music For Montserrat was a concert held on September 15, 1997 at the Royal Albert Hall. Musicians came together to raise funds for the Caribbean island of Montserrat after a major volcanic eruption earlier that year had left the island devastated. The concert starred musicians such as Phil Collins, Ray Cooper, Carl Perkins, Jimmy Buffett, Mark Knopfler, Sting, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Midge Ure, Arrow and many more, all of whom had once recorded at the island's famous AIR Studios. The concert was arranged and produced by George Martin, with proceeds from the show evening, DVD and CD, used for immediate relief and also helping fund the building of a new cultural center in Montserrat. On completion in 2006, George Martin gifted the centre to the islanders. For Carl Perkins this was his last major live performance as he died just over four months later on January 19, 1998

STING & ERIC CLAPTON - It's probably me (HD milanpk)

04:52
STING & ERIC CLAPTON - It's probably me (HD milanpk) "It's Probably Me" is a song that was originally released in 1992 as an all-star collaboration by Sting, featuring Eric Clapton, Michael Kamen and David Sanborn. It was released as a single and on the Lethal Weapon 3 movie soundtrack.[1] It also appears on the Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting 1984-1994 compilation album in 1994. The song uses leitmotifs that were first used on the soundtrack for the original Lethal Weapon film, released five years earlier. The video of this song features Sting, Eric Clapton, Michael Kamen and David Sanborn performing together while a few scenes of Lethal Weapon 3 are shown. Sting rerecorded the song in 1993 for his Ten Summoner's Tales album without any of the other musicians.

Non profit fan made video all credit goes to the original artists.Made using action recorder and Sony Vegas from the blu-ray in 1080p.Some British love the band and the movie! Surprisingly awesome movie the Kingsman like Bond meets the Avengers.. Mark Knopfler is one of the all time greats and is often overlooked on top guitarist lists.Rarely uses a pick and his sound is hard to duplicate because everyone else uses a pick...Classical guitar turned rock that is Mark Knopfler hope you enjoy.
