In this video, I talk about how you can turn a dropshipping store into a private label brand. I cover two different methods that you can use to get your products private labeled and take your brand to the next level. I start by showing you an example of what your end goal could be with a private label brand. I explain how you can start by dropshipping and eventually transition to being a private label. The first method involves using a sourcing agent to handle the private labeling for you. For this method, it helps to already be working with an agent for dropshipping. branding 101, understanding branding basics and fundamentals. Every business wants to be a customer's first choice. Building and managing a brand can play a significant part in making that happen. The concept of a brand extends far beyond just your company logo to your business' core values and to every interaction you have with customers and suppliers. In effect, your brand creates and maintains your reputation and so reflects your customers' experience of your organisation. Customers and employees can build up emotional attachments to certain brands, allowing for strong loyalties and even a sense of ownership. This can help maintain employee motivation and increase your sales but it can also cause problems if you don't consult these stakeholders as your business grows. Your brand is what you are really selling to your customers, not just a product or service for which there may already be many existing providers. A strong brand can make any business stand out from the crowd, particularly in competitive markets.

Building A New Brand Identity
Learning About Your Company We spent a lot of time understanding what we need and who we are, and understanding what we want to achieve as well, and that's what's good with them - it's a real dialogue. They don't come with good ideas or bad ideas. They listen to us and we figure out together what to do. TribalVision has a very professional approach and they listen to us very carefully. They survey our customers, they ask our customers what they thought about our company, and step-by-step put together a plan and different options, different ideas to reach our goal. Building A Better Brand Looking at the future, looking how it will improve ourselves and that was always the central part of the discussion we had with TribalVision. How can these things improve? Our customer relationship and improve ourselves process. They put together the core messaging of the company, which then became the guideline throughout the work and throughout everything we did with TribalVision. With this guideline and strategic vision of TribalVision, they all put together - the website, the brochures, and all work we did together. One of the things we wanted to do with TribalVision is to create a new logo. And we worked together with TribalVision to find this new logo based on what we had in the past, but creating a new image, something that was more modern. We had a day-to-day conversation and different tries and different examples of the new logo - and that's how we work and find out this new brand name. The New You We didn't look small, at a small goal. We looked high and wanted to achieve something perfect, so we compared to our competitors and we did something much better, much better than them. We look much more professional today than we were six months ago. And we already have good feedback from our customers. We will achieve our goal because our website is now a real tool. It's a tool not only for us, for ourselves, but also for our customers. We have excellent feedback from our customers. Building A Stronger Team Working with TribalVision was a real pleasure. It was nice because they are very responsive, they answer quickly to our questions. They are also very transparent to the way they work and what they do and it's a very trustful relationship that we had with them. I didn't need to remind TribalVision what to do or to remind them the differentiators or the vision that we had together. They always work with this guideline. It was very easy for me to work with them. I had a sense they were more like consultants rather than just advisors. The Long-Term Benefits Yes, TribalVision has a very good strategy point of view and they have a good vision and they helped us building this vision. Working with TribalVision is a good investment. It's an affordable investment for a company like us and the results are higher than the expense. The cost-benefits ratio is very high. Yes, I'm happy!

Whilst indulgent and cryptic interface design may appeal to other professional designers, nothing is more guaranteed to alienate and intimidate the first-time user or frustrate the repeat user. The primary consideration in designing an intuitive and optimised interface is the maintenance of consistency and clarity. Items which are not consistently presented both in style and placement make the user spend time re-familiarising themselves with controls when they could be progressing through the application. Additionally, navigational elements need to be presented in a contextual manner rather than giving the user options which are not required at that particular level of the application. A project which opens up to the user as they move through it, but still offers a traceable path by which to return, will allow access to the maximum amount of content and functionality with the minimum of activity. Giving users confidence in the application will encourage them to use it more. Users who lose their way and become lost in indistinct navigation and enigmatic interfaces are unlikely to return. The Web Designs Process No two projects can be designed in the same way. Designing by the template and adopting an inflexible approach does not lead to creative and responsive solutions. web Design is by definition a sequential and interactive process, the outcome of which should not be predicted at the outset. Only through consultation and presentation can web design criteria be successfully established and the appropriate web design solutions developed. The first requirement of a well-designed solution is that it must engage the attention of the user in an appropriate manner. A corporate application will require a very different visual approach to that for an application aimed at a teenage audience and each will be required to engage the target audience instantly. The target audience’s visual expectations will be pre-formed, and if these expectations are challenged in too aggressive a manner then user confidence may be lost and the whole purpose of the project could be compromised. The balance that a design strikes between consistency and variety in its visual content will consciously or sub-consciously affect the attitude that a user adopts towards the project. If the balance is set inappropriately then this will prove detrimental to the project’s aims. It must be remembered that the whole purpose of designing an interface is to increase the likelihood that the project will achieve its goals. Web Designs for electronic media is a different discipline to that for traditional media such as print. The print designer has the luxury of knowing that the finished product will always look the same no matter how or where it is printed. The web designer of electronic media has no such luxury. He or she has to ensure that the electronic media display faithfully and reliably across a myriad different system display settings. Brand and Identity Branding for the project will often already exist in one form or another, but this is not always the case. A company’s identity and brand is the inanimate face of the company and is often the first point of visual contact for a prospective client or customer. In both electronic and traditional media, the company’s brand and identity must be well thought-out, appropriate and consistent. Frequently there is only one opportunity for the user to form an opinion about the company based on the way it presents itself through branding and setting up your initial website design. In China, the culture around copyright is very different to the western world. In China, the culture around copyright is that if something can be easily copied and can benefit others, then that is more important than protecting the rights of a single individual. It is a cultural difference. As a result, it’s very easy to get away with piracy in China, which is why pirated movies/music/games are sold freely on the streets. In fact, Chinese manufacturers copy each other all the time. Not only do they produce the same products, they steal images from each other. If you go to Aliexpress you will see that different manufacturers are producing the same items, and they are using the same images. As a result, it is extremely unlikely that any Aliexpress supplier would try to pursue you in court for any copyright issues. If they were going to sue anyone - it would be the manufacturers that are copying them - although due to the cultural differences, that is also extremely unlikely. If you’re still worried, you can contact the Aliexpress suppliers and ask them if they are OK with you reusing their images. Question 2: How Can I Avoid Being Sued for Copyright Images? They might not care in China if you copy images - but in the west, they sure do! Even if your website is not making any money, you can still be pursued legally and sued for using images without permission - so it’s very important that you don’t use copyrighted images on your website! A good place to find images you can use is with Google Images: 1) Go to Google Images 2) Click settings. 3) Click advanced search. 4) Type in what you’re searching for. 5) Scroll down to usage rights. Select “free to use, share or modify, even commercially.” 6) Click search. You’ll be surprised at how many images you’re allowed to use! So don’t get lazy and use images that are copyrighted. Use Google to find free images you’re allowed to use. Question 3: Can I Sell Aliexpress Products that are Trademarked? No - do NOT sell products that are trademarked. For example, in the video, Sarah compares two items - one that is a generic self-stir mug, and one that is a self-stir mug with Harry Potter imagery on it. Do NOT sell the Harry Potter mug, as it is illegal. If you sell products with trademarks, you aren’t just risking getting sued - you’re risking having legal action taken against you.

To help Google Forms users create more personalized surveys, feedback forms, quizzes, and more, Google is introducing new theme customization options. Specifically, you can now choose colors and fonts to theme your form. This has been a top feature request from users, who have asked for more options to create forms that match their organization or team branding. Pick a theme and background color You can choose a color for your theme. When you choose a theme color, it will apply to your header background, titles, action buttons, and more. You can pick a predefined color, or a custom one. After you pick a theme color, you can select a complementary color for the background. Use an image for the form header By default, the form header matches the theme color you select. If you want, you can change this and use an image to display in the header instead. Customize the font style You can pick from several font styles to apply to your form. When you pick a style, it will apply to your form title and question text.

Here at Wholesale Ted, we get asked a lot of questions in-regards to this… “Won’t the Aliexpress seller include an invoice in the package, telling the buyer the real price I paid? Won’t they get angry?” “I don’t want to dropship from Aliexpress because sellers include marketing information (like their seller name and coupon codes) that identifies them, so the buyer can go direct to the Aliexpress seller.” Luckily, there is a simple solution to this - and that is to blindly dropship your items from the Aliexpress suppliers. QUESTION: What is Blind Dropshipping? ANSWER: Blind dropshipping is when a supplier dropships an item without including any marketing or advertising identifying them as the seller. It also means they don’t include an invoice so the customer can’t see how much you paid. As a result, the buyer as no idea where you go the item from (so they can’t go direct to them) and they don’t know the real price of it. QUESTION: That’s great… how do I blindly dropship then? ANSWER: It’s actually very simple. All you need to do is ask the Aliexpress supplier to do it. When you purchase an item, on the checkout page you’ll be offered an option to leave a message for the seller. Simply type in a message like this: "Hi there. Please do not include an invoice or any marketing materials with this order. Please blindly dropship this item. Thank you" If you add a message like this, then your item will be shipped out and not include any invoices/marketing materials/coupon codes inside. QUESTION: Why would suppliers be willing to blindly dropship? ANSWER: A lot of Aliexpress sellers are used to working with dropshippers, and actively seek them out. Why? Because dropshippers can do large amounts of volume, and be very profitable for them. As a result of working with us, Aliexpress suppliers are used to the needs of dropshippers and know how to ship while hiding their identity. QUESTION: Why in this video do you recommend working with Aliexpress suppliers that have a feedback score between 2,000-2 million? ANSWER: Sellers in this feedback range are the “sweet spot.” They are established suppliers, so likely have previous experience working with dropshippers and will understand your requests. Yet they aren’t doing an absolutely insane amount of sales volume, so they will be more likely to pay close attention to messages. QUESTION: Is there anything else I do to ensure the supplier will blind dropship my item? ANSWER: Yes - there is. If you’d like to be doubly safe, then we recommend reaching out to the supplier and messaging them. You can ask them if they offer blind dropshipping, and check that they understand what it is. QUESTION: So you say that you ordered items from Aliexpress suppliers and unboxed them in the video… was any marketing material or invoices included in the packages? ANSWER: Nope! We ordered four different items from four different suppliers. All of the suppliers were in the feedback score range we recommended in this video (2,000 to 2 million). There was nothing included on or in the packages indicating who the seller was. There were no invoices included in the packages, indicating the true cost of the item. And there were no coupons included in the package, and they made no attempts to try and “poach” customers. And finally, here is something to keep in mind… this highlights something very important: oftentimes, seemingly complicated problems have very simple, easy solutions. We’ve noticed that a ot of people get held back from starting a dropshipping business because of this issue. They tell us things like: “I want to do this, but I’m worried the customer will get an invoice in their package.” “I’d like to start a dropshipping business, but it won’t work, because the Aliexpress seller will include advertising information in the package, identifying them.” Well… a little bit of research reveals that actually - this isn’t true at all if you just ask them to not do so! They will leave all of that out. So remember - if you hit a stumbling block along the way, don’t let it stop you. The solution to it is likely simpler that you realized.

This is part one of a presentation from Stephen Melanson on Verbal Branding given at The Non-Profit Toolbox meet-up at the South Shore Science Center in Norwell MA. Here is the transcript of the clip: I'm going to talk to you about Verbal Branding and Verbal Branding as you see are new literally unique in the world as far as I know branding applications. And the goal is as you see there. To simultaneously improve sales culture, what I refer to as Brand Density, and there is even more to it than that. But Ill talk about everything. I have about twenty minutes with you, I'm going to teach you everything I can in twenty minutes about Verbal Branding. I hope you find it interesting, and I think you'll find it interesting that you can apply some of these things starting tomorrow for your non-profits. Now here's what I believe should keep you awake at night. Your brand being diminished every single day times every single person regardless of how many there are in your organization times every conversation they have. Now I don't make that up just to make a point I work with a lot of different kinds of companies and firms and organizations. This is the scenario that I see everywhere I go regardless of the situation. So it might now start keeping you awake, but this is what I see everywhere and this is to be avoided obviously for your brand. Now I do work in a specific area of branding. Branding is a huge topic as you know. There is what's called the identity elements, logos, tags lines, the name of your firm or organization, the colors and the imagery on your Web site, things like that. Those are all identity related, I don't do any of that work. I do what called positioning, and here is my very simple definition of what position should mean to you in my opinion. How are you different and because of that difference better than the competition whoever the competition is. This is what I use for a definition regardless who I'm working with and it works every time. The gap in the branding marketplace is a spoken application. Believe it or not in the branding world, full service branding companies do all sorts of work for their clients, they never actually deal with what people say every day to people outside their organization. That's the work that I do. Again, Verbal Branding is a spoken application, literally a spoken robust application, for this thing that I call brand positioning and that's what its called in the marketplace. So here's what's at issue and everyone will be all relate to this. What conversation do you want or need to have when you speak to somebody? How many conversations do you think you've had in your entire business or nonprofit life? Most people say, oh five hundred, ten thousand, things like that. Right? Actually there's only, two you're either the same or you're different, there's no middle ground. And you should know that when you're in the field and you're talking to people there's only two options, you're either the same or you're different from your competition. That's what goes on in the mind of the consumer. Does that make sense? OK, now to something I call conversational dynamics, but before I go into that in a little bit of detail, I want you to know this. This is why my best tips and I hope you remember it forever. When you tell someone your name, when you tell them what category your business or your firm is in, your non-profit, here's what I have to say. No one cares. Ok? No one cares, isn't that awful? No one cares but it's true. Nonprofit about X Y or Z, CPA firm, attorney, branding consultant, guess what I don't even care that I'm a branding consultant. So I never tell anybody that because I know that they shouldn't care because I don't even care. I care what my positioning in the marketplace is. It's totally different and what I'll tell you and I see everywhere I go is that people sell quote, unquote sell or try to raise money based on category. Listen to what people say in maybe even listen to yourself and you'll realize that what happens is they'll tell you what category of business they're in and then they'll go about talking about the positive attributes of the category alone and they have not positioned themselves for differentiation in their competitive space. Start listening for that and you'll hear it everywhere, ninety nine percent of the time. That's to be avoided. One of my clients asked me to take a look at Binary Options Probot as they had been tempted to give it a go. Fortunately for them, they came to me first, and I told them to hold off while I did some investigation into what it was and if it was a scam or not. First impressions lead to most people to believe that its not a scam because there are no obvious signs that its dishonest in any way. If you peel back the layers of gloss you soon see that couldn’t be further from the truth. The testimonial images used for the 4 “customers” that have made mega money with the binary options Probot are all stock images with a country flag put in the background. Any company that cant use real people to testify that their service is good, clearly has something to hide. In this case, its something really bad that they are trying to hide from you. I was not at all surprised to see the same old scam bot that has been re-hashed about a million times is the software behind Binary Options Probot. This bit of software is awful and doesn’t work at all. They keep getting slammed by the reviewers and customers online, and then they just turn tail and scam all over again with the same software in a different colour with a different branding and video. This particular software is total shit, so I have decided to name this the Binary Options SHITBOT. I will be doing a montage video showing all the different instances where the Binary Options SHITBOT has been used with different branding. Keep an eye out for it soon.
