How to use Facebook Notes to reach more people (and grow your Facebook Page)

13:34
How to use Facebook Notes to reach more people (and grow your Facebook Page) Have you ever stopped think about just how limited Facebook Posts are? You type up some text, add a video, link or link or picture and that’s it. Ever heard of Notes? Facebook Notes allow you to type up full articles and documents, you can add links, image, embeds and all sorts of media to get your message across with formatting options. Why should you care? Because you can use it to reach more people and grow your business. Let’s take a look in the above video. If you can’t watch the video, all you need to know to get started is: Start a new post and press the Ellipsis “…” button Clicking “Write Note” From there it’s easy enough to type add in photos, embeds, etc. It’s fairly simple but a lot to explain here, I do recommend watching the above video or simply jumping in and having a go yourself. It’s quite easy to use notes to your advantage. Since they show up in your Page’s fans’ feeds, you do have the opportunity to reach more people as Facebook is more likely to share it than a link of yours taking people off platform. As I mentioned earlier, some of the benefits are: More likely to reach your fans – as Facebook doesn’t like sending people off platform. Much more formatting and longer more media rich posts People can still share, comment and like a note like any post! Write a full blog post Maybe you don’t have a blog and want somewhere to write or do content marketing for free. Maybe you do have a blog but you want to offer some Facebook exclusive content. Either way, you can use Facebook almost like a blog format by writing complete articles in your Facebook notes. They have a better chance of going viral on Facebook and reaching more people, just encourage people to like your page so you can convert readers into ‘likes’. Summarize a blog post and link to it So you just wrote up a cool, lengthy, life-changing blog post. Nice! Summarize, introduce and tease the information of that post in a Notes article on your Facebook page. Add the link to the pos ton your website and send people in that direction for more information. This could be worth trying if you have trouble fitting the information you want into a normal post. Alternatively, you could write about a spin-off topic that leads ion perfectly to your new blog post. Add a Notes tab to your page Before you get too many notes up, it could be handy to give them somewhere people can go back to them, giving them more exposure. Link to several topical posts on your website Ever heard of Top Lists? They’re an awesome post type for generating traffic (more on that here). Well, if you have several blog posts on a particular topic that would go well together, create a top list ‘Note’ on Facebook. Such as an article summarizing all of your top posts on weight loss (for example). So people get the chance to see what your best information is on a certain topic and explore what you have to offer across multiple posts. This can be an excellent way to bring attention to older posts on your website! Promote products, affiliate links & your email list You’re an affiliate marketer or you offer your own product? Write a suitable ‘Note’ article on Facebook and share it – linking off to the product you’re trying to sell. You can add in images and walk through/review videos to help make the sale and let it virally sell for you. Don’t forget to do this with freebies too, especially if they must signup to your email newsletter to gain access. That can be a terrific way to grow your email list and promote those products later, after you’ve built the relationship Add business information You have an ‘about us’ page, why not create a note for Products & Services? Maybe you have other information, so add that! If you are short a website this can serve as a nice temporary solution people so people can get the information they’re after. Now you;r really bringing your Facebook page to a new level of resourceful! Pin important notes to the top of your page feed. If it’s a highly converting Facebook Note, a list of your products or services or an opt-in freebie you’re pushing in a note, you should consider getting that pinned to the top of your page. That way people who see your Facebook page for the first time can get a solid introduction to who you are. You could even title it “Is this the first time on our Facebook page? Read this”. Here’s how to do it, go to the note you shared, click the ellipsis in the top right corner of the post and click “Pin to Top of Page” Your Imagination is the limit. We’re talking about information and media here, so whatever purpose you can think of for Facebook Notes can be incredibly handy and you have a few options to pushit out there – even advertising. Muay Thai Fighter Speed Painting Test on New Tablet

03:36
By Wade McMaster http://www.wademcmaster.com http://www.martialartsdesigner.com.au Muay Thai Fighter Speed Painting Test on New Tablet So I recently got my hands on an XP Pen drawing tablet. After a few test scribbles, I thought it was time to start a decent, long term project. I've been using Photoshop for years, drawing my whole life and practicing the Martial Arts of Muay Thai (aswell as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) for close to 15 years. So I thought a speed painting of a Muay Thai fighter would be a good test for my new drawing tablet. Speed paintings are fun to make and excellent for vewing your work, but this is a bit of a test. There are a lot of things I'm unhappy with, mistakes and little imperfections. But overall I love the final result of this sketch. Thanks for taking the time to watch this video and I hope to create a lot more in the future! Enjoy my video - Muay Thai Fighter Speed Painting Test on New Tablet.

Divi Theme In-Depth Review (2018 Walkthrough)

46:02
Building a killer website with Elegant Theme's Divi Theme is ridiculously easy. I've built almost 100 websites with this WordPress Theme, for myself and clients. This video covers the in and outs of the Divi Theme, showcasing it's Pro's and it's cons. Please nome of the links below are affilaite links - but I would recommend this theme either wya. It's killer :) Contents of the video: • Intro & Examples: 0:00 • Installation: 4:20 • Change the logo: 6:16 • Customize Theme Typography, Header & Template: 7:26 • Exploring the Them Options: 17:44 • Using the Builder (includes below): 20:26 • Exploring Premade Layouts 21:46 • Playing with spacing, color & Design Options: 23:42 • Starting a Page from Scratch: 34:14 • Other Bonuses that come with Divi: 40:10 • Try for Free: 44:11 (link below) Download Divi: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/downloaddivi More Information / Full Blog Post: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/divi-theme-review/ Back in the old days when I started my web design business, I was using other Themes that required a lot of coding and manual styling and I remember thinking just how much easier it was back then compared to when I was building HTML websites as a teenager. But again, times have changed thanks companies like Elegant Themes. These guys have put a tonne of effort into creating the Divi theme, which has sped up and simplified the process of web design and creating eye-catching sites to an insane level. I can now build websites in a 10th the time I used to (more so since the old HTML days). In saying this, this theme isn't perfect but it's pretty close to it. No WordPress theme is perfect. Like all others the Divi theme has it's Pro's and it's Cons, swinging heavily into the favor of the Pros. But knowing its weaknesses may save you some time and direct you toward a more suitable solution. So I decided that I would go through the Divi Theme here for you, give you a walkthrough of why it's such a great theme whilst also addressing some of the weaknesses. I've tried to be as thorough as possible whilst keeping it at a level where you can scan through to get the information you're after quite quickly. Please note though, that I do use affiliate links in this post I earn commission from when purchased, but I'd recommend it either way! Some of the noteworthy features of Divi This is more than likely the information you came to see, a full break down of the Divi Theme and what options are available to you if you decide to try it out. But there's more than just a page builder, visual builder, and range of options. These guys have tried to give you every possible option in a user-friendly manner to make your website look however you want it to, which is pretty cool. Below are some key points to Divi. Installation and setup is easy You'll download a zip file. Like any other WordPress Theme, you simply head to your Themes page (under 'Appearance in your WordPress dashboard), then click 'Add New' and then 'Upload Theme'. Then just upload the Divi Zip file to WordPress. Divi Theme Templates One of the coolest things about Divi is that it has a range of pre-designed templates that come with the theme. Once you start a new page, switch on the Divi Builder (big purple button, hard to miss), you can click 'Load Layout' in your purple top bar, and you get a range of premade layouts you can import and customize. All of these come standard with the Divi Theme. But there are some nifty options such as browsing through categories and searching for layouts. What's really cool too is that you can save your own layouts for future use, even export them and import them as you go. This can be a major time saver and you have far more options than most pre-designed themes because it's designed to be customized using the Divi Builder. What's even better is they also now offer an 'existing page' tab. So you caclone a page quite easily and change the bits and pieces you need. It's a big time saver. Drag 'n' Drop vs the Visual Builder - The main part of the show is the builder itself, or I should say "builders" (plural). The Theme Customizer is quite flexible. It's really easy to get your theme looking the way you want it too. You simply open up the WordPress Theme Customizer and you get a range of new options from the Divi Theme. It's responsive out of the box and Divi also comes with 86 other Themes & Additional Plugins. Buffer: How to Schedule & Automate your Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & More!)

24:29
Automate is an evil word, right? In a world full of fat, greasy spammers (that’s how I picture them, sorry) and people pushing their content mindlessly on their fans without any kind of filter, you’d think I’d be against automating social media. Well, the key is to do it tastefully and offer some value. I’ve personally used this on multiple websites social media profiles (you can schedule Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Plus) and gradually watched their engagement grow and with it – traffic to those websites. I just set up 100 posts for each social network, it automatically posts and it’s really easy to do. So I thought I’d show you how you can do it using a magical tool I been using recently – Buffer. ( https://www.buffer.com ) Read more in my blog post: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/automate-social-media-traffic/ Manage Multiple Twitter Accounts with Tweet Deck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEtvwgCO8yw What Social Media Networks can you use? Buffer have covered the main bases here pretty well, covering various aspects of: • Facebook • Instragram • Twitter • LinkedIn • Google Plus • Pinterest. Important: how to not be a “fat greasy spammer”… Spammers are people who just push links constantly without fear of annoying their audience. It’s easy to spot and you’ll know when you’re a spammer, because you should feel like shit doing things in such a way. Really, you should. Automation isn’t evil if you’re adding your personal touch to each post and keeping up the variety. I tend to break things up into percentages, for example, you might be able to break things up into a percentage structure like below: 35% links to your content 20% catchy images or videos 10% links to posts other than your own 10% ask a question 10% short, informative post (like a mini blog post) 10% personal 5% quotes This is an example structure you could follow which would give you the ability to post your links regularly to your audience but also offer them some social interaction, valuable information and entertainment along the way. You can set up your schedule very easily with Buffer App. Just click on a social media profile and the schedule tab, and then below you’ll have you schedule. You simply set certain times and which days you to post on. But how often should you post? I highly recommend reading Buffer’s Frequency guide & this post by CoSchedule. But to sum things up, here’s what the Buffer team schedule : Twitter: 14 times a day on weekdays & 7 times a day on weekends Facebook: Twice a day Instagram: Twice a day LinkedIn: Once a day Google+: Twice a day You can also set the time and date individually. When entering a post to share, if you’d rather not throw it into the queue, you can set the date and time specifically to post. There's also a few tools you can use to make life easier also. Check out the video (or blog post mentioned earlier) for information.

Secure WordPress with iThemes Security (and Some Simple Tweaks)

14:24
Secure WordPress with iThemes Security (and Some Simple Tweaks) Full post here: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/wordpress-ithemes-security/ WordPress is the most popular website platform currently on the web. It's solid, easy to use and because of it's popularity, it's weaknesses are more well known to bots and hackers out there who like to mess things up for humble bloggers like us. The good news is that these little weaknesses that everyone knows of can be easily stitched up with a plugin called iThemes Security and a few tweaks. So I do this on each and every website I create. So below I have a video aswell as the written steps to gettingyour WordPress website secured using iThemes Security. Please note: You can never be 100% unhackable.  While the following will dramatically decrease the odds of your website being hacked or injected with Malware there's always a possiblity that someone can get in if they're serious and smart enough.  This post also contains some affiliate links I earn a commission from when purchased - I'd recommend them even if i didn't and they come at no extra expense to you. First, Back Up When you start playing with these settings, they will change your website and therefore there's a possiblity that you may experience some problems - including a WorPress crash. I highly recommend backing up before getting started! If your host has a backup feature, I'd use that or you can schedule regular backups using BackupBuddy - which is an awesome tool. Backing up regularly is one of the best forms of security you can implement.  Regardless of if or when your site goes down, a recent backup and can fix the problem rather quickly. Install iThemes Security & run a a Security Check It's simple, go to 'Plugins', then 'Add new' and search for iThemes Secutrity in the WordPress repository. Install and activate! The go to the tab on the left of your dashboard that says 'Security', you'll be prompted to run a security check.  Do this, secure your site by and move on to the next step.  If you aren't prompted automatically, it's the first option on the top left of the page after you enter the Security Settings. Global Settings Make sure the following are ticked: 'Allow iThemes Security to write to wp-config.php and .htaccess.' 'Enable Blacklist Repeat Offender' Then scroll down and add your current IP to the Whitelist.  All other settings are fine, click the button 'Save Settings'. Enable 404 Protection No need to configure this one as the default settings are fine. Simply click 'Enable' and you're good to go! Enable Banned Users Some people are bad news, so you can simply ban known users and people with suspicious activity from accessing your site. This is simple, Enable and configure, the on the popup ticket the two boxes: 'Enable HackRepair.com's blacklist feature' 'Enable Ban Lists' Save the settings and move on again! Enable Database Backups Backup your database regularly just in case things go south. Enable this feature and just click 'configure' to check you are happy with the settings. I like to simply be emailed the backups so next to Backup method I usually select 'Email Only'. Just confirm that 'Enable Scheduled Database Backups' is ticked. Save your settings and move on. Again, I recommend Backup Buddy to schedule full website backups so you have everything you could need if your site goes down. System Tweaks & WordPress Tweaks There are two areas that have a series of settings you can enable to that add an added layer of protection: System Tweaks WordPress Tweaks Enable both, and configure each by ticking all of the available options.  If you find some problems arise with plugins or functionalityon your site, consider disabling these. Change WordPress Salts Wordpress uses encrypted keys to keep elements of your site secure, changing these WordPress Salts will harden them up, making them even more secure. Click Configure Settings, tick the box and save settings. Warning - this will log you out of WordPress, so you will have to log back in to continue from there. Change Database Table prefix Sometimes when a bot or hacker goes after your database, it has an understanding of certain bits of code within it it can modify. Changing the Database Table Prefix makes this just a little less predictable and safe. Now, this can cause database issues, which is why I do it when I first install WordPress but not on an aged website. But if you're just building a new site, head to the tab on the top right that says 'Advanced', click 'Configure Settings' under 'Change Table Prefix'. Once the screen pops up, click the dropdown, select 'Yes' and then 'Save Settings'. Protect against Brute Force Attacks Additional Tips: Update WordPress, Plugins and Themes Regularly Delete Plugins and Themes you aren't using Change the User Display name Don't allow just anybody to register a user account Actually, delete any users that shouldn't be there. How to Create Multi-page Blog Posts in WordPress (Classic Editor)

03:22
How to Create Multi-page Blog Posts in WordPress Quite often you can caught up writing blog posts that they can become way too long. While I don't recommend breaking up posts with fewer than 5000 words (good for SEO), there is a little trick you can use in WordPress to create multiple pages within a single blog post. It's a simple tag you can add the to html / text tab (unfortunately, I cannot type it here as it is not allowed by YouTube, you can see the code at 3:00 ) That's it! it then separates each page. How to Pick the Best Theme for WordPress (Free or Paid?)

10:45
How to Pick the Best Theme for WordPress (Free or Paid?) There's a few things we need to mention up front about picking a WordPress Theme.  Without these features, your theme is destined to under-perform and let you down. Naturally, I'm sure that's the opposite of what you're after in a website ;) Is it responsive? Is the theme simple and easy to navigate? Doe sit appeal to visitors and customers? The next question to ask is, should you go for a Free Theme or a Premium WordPress theme? You get what you pay for here, Free as it's host of problems whilst Premium generally offers better value. I recommend Elegant Themes for beginners (link at the bottom) The other thing to consider is your skill set. Are you savvy enough to customize a WordPress theme. Should you learn or simply hire a web designer? I discuss all of these WordPress Theme related questions and issues in this video. Free DIY vs Professional Website Design

14:30
You might be thinking - "Why would I pay for a professional website design when I can simple get a Free / DIY solution like Wix? Well I'll give you my 2 cents. You're probably getting less visitors, converting less customers and making FAR LESS money than is possible through your website if it's a free DIY (Do it Yourself) version. That's because of the expertise you hire when hiring a professional web designer, someone who understands traffic and SEO, trust signals and the general flow and usability of a website. In this video I go into depth on why you should hire a professional website designer. Boost Traffic To Your Blog with Top List Posts! (We Show Real Results)

19:13
Boost Traffic To Your Blog with Top List Posts! (We Show Real Results) Full blog post: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/top-list-posts/ These days ‘top list’ posts are everywhere, and with good reason. They generate a lot of traffic because they are absolutely packed with information, people love to read them and they’re formatted in a way that is incredibly inviting and easy to read. They are the preferred format for a lot of people and many successful bloggers swear by them. I go over the process of creating a top list using the classic editor in WordPress. If you’re using the Gutenberg Block Editor, the process is much the same. If you need help making the switch from Classic to Gutenberg, check out my playlist below: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsaZXe5Zf2eHkhl01u6ZcMaFnJZyBx4N0 Personally, I’ve found lists to be my highest performing material… On my other current website, Martial Arts Action Movies, the lists most responsible for my traffic are lists. Here’s a look at my traffic from that website for the last few days: Notice four of my top 8 articles are lists? This website consists of 98% movie reviews (with over 300 reviews) and these 4 list posts make up 22.76% of my landing pages (pages people visit first on my website). Not bad for roughly 1% of the pages of my total website. Not to mention I only have (at time of writing) 7 lists on this website. Guess what I’ll be writing a lot of on this site from now on? It doesn’t end there. My last list post brought in 14,577 visitors in 10 days when it was posted. You guessed it, pretty much all of the posts I made that went viral were list posts. Surprise! Naturally, like any popular format, they are receiving some criticism from bloggers and marketers who are apparently sick of seeing them everywhere. I recommend ignoring this, however, as the results speak for themselves and it’s the quality of the information in these lists which make them awesome – the list is just how it is presented. Besides, you don’t have to non-conform just for sake of nonconformity, which is a kind of conformity in itself.…sorry if that’s confusing lol. Just do what works for you. Top List posts are excellent for your SEO, as many people go searching for this kind of content a lot (“top Donnie Yen movies”? as above!). List posts like these can be top items, or even top experts sharing their advice, a top example of this would be 127 Experts Reveal Best Tools For Keyword Research in 2018 , written by my friend Robbie Richards. It’s a perfect example of a list built to generate traffic via SEO (keep an eye out for me on there too ;) ). But how do you create an effective ‘Top List’ post? Watch the video to find out!

How to switch to the WordPress Classic Editor (& Ditch Gutenberg Blocks!)

04:58
How to switch to the WordPress Classic Editor (& Ditch Gutenberg Blocks!) In this video we show you how you can go back to the old classic WordPress editor for your posts and pages. The first option we look at is by using a 'Classic Editor' Block within Gutenberg. The second is to install the actual Classic Editor Plugin. ( here: https://en-au.wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/ ) So you can turn off Gutenberg and set the classic by default. You can also allow the option to switch between both, which is really cool and should be a feature of WordPress 5.0. So you're not stuck in up the WordPress creek without a paddle. Check out this video and see how easy it is to go back to the days of old so you can continue comfortably. How to Start a Website/Blog (using WordPress & Hostgator) - perfect for beginners. To sign up for Hostgator: http://wellbuildyourblog.com/hostgatordiscount (affiliate link, get a discount by using this link) This video shows you step by step how to start a WordPress website on Hostgator. Maybe you want to create a blog or maybe you want a small business website - WordPress is the perfect solution. FREE comprehensive course showing you to create a website (including steps to take after this video below: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/getstarted/ Written Steps can be found on my website: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/install-wordpress-hostgator/ So you’re starting a website, congratulations! You’re not 100% sure what to do and that’s totally fine.  I’ve put together this quick video walk through (also written below for easy reference) so you can get everything going. It’s simple, cheap, and only takes a few clicks.  So let’s get to it... First, Sign up for Hostgator. I’ve done the research and tested many websites over the years and Hostgator is the best option to start with.  The prices are cheap and the service is extremely reliable. So head over to Hostgator here to sign up. I recommend using ‘cloud hosting’ and the ‘baby cloud’ plan as you can create more than one website. Although I used ‘Hatchling’ in the video as it was for demonstration purposes. Fill out the form and payment, choosing any extras you’re like (the backup plan and added security is handy). Then when you’ve filled it all out and ticked the right boxes, click ‘Checkout Now’. It may take up to a day for your domain name and hosting to be activated. Now, let’s install WordPress Your account is set up and everything is ready for to start building your WordPress website! It’s a simply process so let’s get into it... Hostgator will email your credentials through, so log into your Hostgator dashboard and click on the Hosting Tab. Next, click ‘Hosting Dashboard’. Once there, you’ll see ‘WordPress – 1 Click Installation’, click that icon. Select your domain, leave the directory blank (it will say directory still) and click ‘Next’. Fill out your: Blog Title – title of your website Admin User – choose a unique name that’s hard to guess.  Don’t us ‘admin’ or the name of your site as it can be a security to risk touse an easily guessable admin username First name & Last Name – Self explanatory Admin Email – To receive all website notifications on. Make sure you have both boxes ticked below (‘automatically create a new database’ and the Terms of Service). Click Install. Sit and chill for 2 minutes. Now the WordPress is installed! You’ll see your installation details on the right, copy those to a text document somewhere for future reference.  Also you login address will be your domain name with ‘/wp-login.php’ added to the end (example:  yourdomain.com/wp-login.php ).  So save that address to a text file too. Using those details, log in and check out the WordPress dashboard! When you’re ready to remove your coming soon page, go to the ‘Plugins’ menu on the left in your WordPress dashboard and deactivate the ‘Mojo Marketplace’ plugin. What’s the next step? You’re yet to find a WordPress theme (if you want a customizable theme, I recommend Divi), set up your security and get your content together (among other things). I offer a free Email course which walks you through all of these steps, so if you’re wanting to get things set up properly, consider checking out that course out here. Don’t forget, if you haven’t yet signed up for Hostgator – you can visit their website using the link at the top of this description. Otherwise, thanks for watching and reading.  Why do I use WordPress and Hostgator? WordPress is one of the easiest platforms in the world to leanr and use and it's also the most powerful. You can get started in minutes and have a website that lasts for years and you can even build an income with it. If you're keen to learn more abotu WordPress, they do have an official website: https://wordpress.org/ I've tried many hosts in the past and most of them have issues that take life a nightmare. So I switched and did a heap of comparison research for hosting companies in the cheap price range - I found Hostgator out performs in all aspects and since switching Ive never had any issues. This is especially true for their cloud hosting plans. So get start today, watch the video and learn how to get started! 36 Powerful Tips to Grow Your Following on Twitter (and Generate more Website Traffic! - 2018)

18:48
In this video, I show you 36 Powerful Tips to Grow Your Following on Twitter and Generate more Website Traffic!. Full Blog Post & PDF Download: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/tips-traffic-twitter/ Twitter & Social Media Videos: Twitter Tips for Growth (including videos mentioned): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsaZXe5Zf2eHZbWdgWGZSqqTJTEo1RdrV Social Media Tips: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsaZXe5Zf2eE88n01q0Qb5Fvim11_a5qE Twitter is a powerful social platform to build a following and direct traffic. Those 280 characters you have for each tweet are an opportunity to engage your audience or drive traffic to your website. It all has to do with quality - giving people what they want. Of course, there are a few ways you can master this level of quality and become a bit of a Twitter power user - so here are some timeless tips you can try. First of all – tweet your posts when they are published (duh) Yeah, this seems pretty obvious, but if you don’t release links to your content when it becomes live, then your twitter followers probably won’t see it! You don’t have to be a genius to work that one out. Don’t be afraid to post your link more than once either! Be consistent Don’t go hard tweeting constantly for 2 weeks, then stop for 3, back for 1, etc, etc. You want to make sure that your presence is always there. You want to create brand awareness so that people are always hearing from you and become familiarized with your image and tweets. When people become used to seeing you they will more than likely, based on the quality of your tweets, start engaging you more, clicking your links and possibly, buying things from your website! It sounds like a lot of work tweeting constantly and consistently, so there’s my next tip to help that along…. Schedule your tweets Yes, you read right – you can schedule tweets! This something that can easily be done with a variety of tools. Tweetdeck: http://www.twetdeck.com Buffer: http://www.buffer.com Use Hashtags How do you insert a hashtag? Simply type it into your post like so: #hashtag. If you’re tweeting about MMA type #MMA or puppies type #puppies. You’ve just used a Hashtag. Share quick tips Quick and easy, if you are in the business of helping people with something, educating them to become fitter, better people, help their careers, etc – tweet quick and actionable tips! By tweeting actionable tips people won’t simply want to follow what you have to say for entertainment, but they’ll follow you because you’re giving them something they can actually use. This one tip can make your presence on Twitter much more substantial and you’ll be helping others. Set up a winning profile You want your profile to convert visitors into followers – and you won’t make that happen without a profile image, information and a profile that looks ‘alive’. This is a very basic step but should not be overlooked. Share quotes & jokes People love quotes and jokes. Your followers want to be inspired, educated and entertained – sometimes you can best do that by finding something clever that someone else has said! It’s simple, go on to Google and search for quotes and jokes related to your niche or topic. For example, if I want to find quotes by Bruce Lee, I’d search for “Bruce Lee quotes” then you’ll find lists of Bruce Lee quotes – the same for Business jokes – search for “Business Jokes” and you’ll get lists of them. The trick is finding quotes that are less than 140 characters after the name is included. Get visual, use images. Engage, Engage, Engage… …and not just your followers. Make friends, network, expand and find new people to interact with. While your followers (and people you follow) should definitely be engaged, you should also seek out conversations through the Twitter search feature and join in. Reply to tweets, offer your opinion or tips to solve certain problems. Tweet at the right time, Tweet often. Make sure you have a ‘base’ following Yes, you can start employing all of the tips on this page pretty quickly, but if you have hardly any followers then you’re leveraging a small group of people. When tweeting a link, don’t just tweet once, Tweet the classics and Share other people’s links and go off topic occasionally Organize People into lists...then engage. When you are following a lot of people, it’s difficult to make sense of the massive streams of information going through your stream, so make use of lists. Ask for the occasional retweet or try 'JustRetweet'. Be positive, tweet about yourself less, be more useful. When Followed, Follow Back, Follow new people if they are interested in your niche! Stop 'App' Tweets. You can also find retweet groups. Clean up your follows, Always tweet Monday – Friday! Use less characters in your tweet. Use popular words and avoid 'selfish' or boring words. Tweet about Twitter! Ask questions, Mention other people, Jump on the #FollowFriday bandwagon onb Twitter.

How to Upload a Premium WordPress Theme

02:04
How to Upload a Premium WordPress Theme: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/upload-premium-wordpress-theme/ If you're new to WordPress and WordPress themes, you may be wondering, "just how the hell do I upload a premium or downloaded theme?" Well, it's easy, and I've even got a backup for you if the first method doesn't work. So I created some videos below showing you how to do each option. So here's how. 1. Hover over "Appearance" in your dashboard, then click  "Themes" when the menu appears. 2. Once the page loads, click the button "Add New" up the top. 3. Once the next page loads, click the button "Upload Theme", then "Choose File" 4. Find the Zip file your Theme came in, and upload it by clicking "Install Now" 5. The theme will install, once it has, you can activate the theme by clicking "Activate" or you can go to the Themes menu at a later date and activate any installed theme by clicking the "activate" button sitting with it. That's it! But what if that doesn't work? Upload via FTP For this step to work, you'll need to download and install an FTP program, I recommend CoreFTP (it's Free). All you need to do is unzip the files with your Theme, and upload to your website's public html folder/wp-content/themes - then upload your unzipped folder into that location. Now there's a lot to this step.  You'll need FTP info from your hosting provider. Here's the video showing you how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Demr2OGbcyw For my Free Beginners Email Course: https://wellbuildyourblog.com/start-here/ Learn how to get your business or blog online, reaching more people and making more money!

How to Manage Multiple Twitter Accounts with TweetDeck

14:22
In this quick 15 minute video, we will show you how to Manage Multiple Twitter Accounts with TweetDeck. It's free too! Tweetdeck is the perfect tool for putting all of your accounts in one spot, it's excellent as you can set things up in the order you want and go, left to right, managing your Twitter accounts, replies and tweets. Some of the things you can add are - a list of tweets from lists or your own accounts - messages to individual or all accounts (in column) - mentions for specific or all accounts (one column) - recent followers - activity for your account - you can schedule tweets - the list goes on (check out the video) This means if you run or schedule multiple Twitter accounts, instead of logging in and out, going from page to page - you can log in once, check out all of your Twitter activity in one spot and save a tonne of time and interact more efficiently.
