How to Access Netflix Secret Menu

02:41
This video shows you how to access secret menus on Netflix. And I'll give you all of the Netflix secret menu codes that will let you access any menu you want. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Netflix secret codes linked to in pinned comment below. Video Transcript: Netflix has a ton of content. However, if you don't know exactly what you're looking for, sifting your way through the monstrous pile of content to find something you want to watch can be a headache. And while Netflix lets you access menus associated with high-level genres, it does make it easy for you to drill further into sub-genres. In this video, I'll show you how to access hidden Netflix menus that show all of the content available for a specific sub-genre. The only catch is that you can only do this through a web browser, and you can't access these secret Netflix menus through any of the Netflix apps. Step 1. Open a web browser, navigate to Netflix.com, and then sign in to your account. You'll arrive at your Netflix home screen. Step 2. Make a note of any of Netflix's sub-genre codes on any of these slides that you want to see content for. For example, if you wanted to see Netflix's secret menu for classic comedies, you would write down 31694. If you wanted to see Netflix's hidden menu associated with historical documentaries, you would write down 5349. Or if you wanted to see Netflix's secret menu associated with Vampire Horror Movies, you would write down 75804. I'll include as many of these codes as possible in the video description, but for the full list you'll have to return to these images in the video. Step 3. Because I want to see Netflix's hidden menu associated with comic book and superhero movies, I'm going to enter "/genre/10118" after "browse" in the address bar for the web browser. The full website URL should look like what's on the screen. Press "Enter." The Comic Book and Superhero Movies hidden Netflix menu appears.

This video walks you through how to cancel subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. You can use this to cancel Apple Music and other Apple subscriptions, and also to cancel app subscriptions to non-Apple services, such as Netflix and Hulu. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: Apple makes it convenient to subscribe to its own services (such as Apple Music and Apple News), and the services of other companies operating on Apple's platform (such as Netflix, HBO, Washington Post, and Hulu). If you decide you no longer want to subscribe to a service where you manage the subscription through Apple, you can cancel that subscription on your iPhone or iPad with a few quick taps. And now let's walk through the steps to cancel a subscription on your iPhone or iPad. Step 1. Tap the "Settings" app on your Apple device's home screen. The Settings screen is displayed. Step 2. Available options will vary from subscription to subscription, but you should either see the equivalent of a button to cancel the subscription, or an obvious path that will get you to a location where you can cancel your subscription. In this example, I'm going to cancel my TubeBuddy app trial. Step 8. Tap the "Cancel Subscription" button (or its equivalent) after locating it. In this example, I'll tap "Cancel Trial." A Confirm Cancellation dialog box appears. This dialog box will likely contain a message letting you know how long you'll have access to this service after you cancel. Step 9. Tap "Confirm" in the dialog box. The dialog box will disappear and you'll be returned to the information screen for that specific subscription, which will likely present you with a list of options for resubscribing to that particular service. After making any changes you can tap the "Back" arrow in the upper left corner of the screen to navigate back to the list of subscriptions associated with your Apple ID, or you can press the "Home" button to navigate back to your iPhone or iPad home screen.

How to Play Podcasts with Alexa on Amazon Echo

03:45
This video walks you through how to use the AnyPod Alexa skill to use your voice to play and control podcasts through your Amazon Echo device. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: Hi. I'm Max Dalton, and in this video I'm going to talk through how to use the AnyPod skill to use your voice to play and control podcasts through your Amazon Echo device. One of the more hidden talents that Amazon Echo devices have is the ability to play and control podcasts. While Echo's Alexa has a pre-installed TuneIn skill that you can use to play podcasts, the service does a poor job of identifying what podcast you're asking for, and it offers virtually no controls for navigating between different episodes of a podcast, or within a specific podcast episode. However, the AnyPod skill for Amazon Echo devices is free and easy to install, and does a masterful job of recognizing what podcast you're asking for, and offers a wide breadth of controls for navigating between different podcast episodes, or jumping around to different parts of a specific episode. And now, let's talk through how to install and use the AnyPod skill with Alexa on Amazon Echo devices. Step 1. Say, "Alexa, enable the AnyPod skill." Alexa will inform you that the AnyPod skill has been enabled on your device, and then she will encourage you to ask to play a specific podcast. Step 2. Say, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to play (blank) podcast," inserting the name of the podcast you want to play. For example, if you want to listen to the Now Playing podcast, you would say, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to play Now Playing." If the podcast is found, Alexa will inform you that she is now playing the latest episode of your requested podcast, and will also tell you the episode title of that specific podcast. If your requested podcast can't be found, Alexa will inform you that your podcast can't be found on AnyPod, but it will be noted and it may be available in the future. Step 3. To move back to the previous episode of the podcast you're listening to, say, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to play the previous episode." Alternatively, you can also play the next episode by saying, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to play the next episode." Step 4. You can jump to a specific episode of a podcast while listening to that podcast if you know the episode number by saying, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to play episode (insert episode number)." For example, if I was listening to the Now Playing podcast and wanted to listen to the 75th episode of that podcast, I would say, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to play episode 75." Step 5. You can jump around within a specific episode by saying, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to fast forward 30 seconds" to go forward 30 seconds within a specific podcast, or by saying, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to fast forward three minutes" to move forward three minutes within a specific podcast. Step 6. If you need to start a podcast over again, simply say, "Alexa, ask AnyPod to restart." Congratulations! You're now up and running with using the AnyPod skill on your Amazon Echo device, and can easily play and control podcasts using your voice through your device.

This video shows you how to move Steam games to another drive, whether that drive is another internal hard drive or an external hard drive. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: Steam games can take up a lot of hard drive space, and if you start out installing all of them on your primary hard drive you're likely to run out of room quickly. One solution is to move your Steam games to another hard drive, whether that drive is internal or external. After moving your Steam games to another internal or external hard drive you'll still be able to access those games the same as you normally would. Now let's walk through the steps to move your Steam games from their current location to either another internal or external hard drive. Step 1. Launch the Steam client on your computer. Step 2. Click "Steam" in the menu row located in the upper left corner of the screen to open a drop-down menu, and then click "Settings" in the drop-down menu. The Settings window appears. Step 3. Select "Downloads" on the left side of the Settings menu, and then click "Steam Library Folders" in the Content Libraries section on the right side of the Settings window. A Steam Library Folders window appears. Any current Steam library folders on different drives that you have set up appear in this list. Step 4. Click "Add Library Folder" in the lower left corner of the Steam Library Folders window. The Create or Select New Steam Library Folder window appears. Step 5. Click the drop-down arrow located to the right of the current Steam library location to display a drop-down menu with available drives where you can create a new Steam library folder to install games to. Locate the drive you want to move files for a specific Steam game to, whether it's internal or external. Step 6. Click the drive you want to move some of your Steam game files to. The current folder hierarchy on that drive will be displayed. Step 7. Either select the folder or create a new folder you want to use as your Steam library folder on this drive. In this example, I'll click "New Folder" and create a folder named Steam Library that I'll use. Click "Select" after choosing the folder you want to use as your Steam library on this drive. You'll return to the Steam Library Folders window, where you'll now see your new Steam library location listed. If you want to use your newly created Steam library location as your default Steam installation location, right-click your new library location in this list, and then click "Make Default Library." You'll now see Yes listed beneath Default to the right of that particular library. Step 8. Click "Close" when you're done making changes in the Steam Library Folders window, and then click "OK" to close the Settings window and return to your Steam home screen. Step 9. Click "Library" in the row of options located in the upper left corner of the screen. A list of Steam games you own appear in a list on the left side of the screen. The Steam games that are installed on your computer appear in bold. Step 10. A Properties window associated with that specific game appears. Step 11. Select the "Local Files" tab. Click "Move Install Folder" in the Local Files tab. The Move Install Folder window appears. How to Turn on Facebook Messenger Dark Mode

02:53
This video shows you how to turn on Facebook Messenger dark mode in the Messenger mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: It's a bad habit almost everyone engages in -- looking at their phone or tablet when they are laying in bed at night. What most people don't think about is how bad that is for their eyes. As of March 2019, Facebook is looking to make your last Facebook Messenger check-in of the day a little less painful, introducing a dark mode that reduces overall brightness and still offers a strong contrast. The only catch is that Facebook makes you jump through some hoops to activate the Messenger night mode feature. Now let's walk through the steps to turn on Facebook Messenger dark mode. Step 1. Launch the Facebook Messenger app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll arrive at your Facebook Messenger home screen. Step 2. Tap to open any of your conversations. If you don't want to bother anyone else, you can open a conversation with yourself. Step 3. Tap the "Emoji" icon that appears on the right side of the text entry field. The Emoji icon is a blue smiley face. A menu appears on the bottom part of your screen, with sections for stickers, GIFs, and emoji. Tap "Emoji." Emojis will appear on the lower part of your screen. Step 4. Swipe through the emoji options until you arrive at the Animal and Nature section, and then find the crescent moon icon in the animal and nature section. Tap the crescent moon icon. That emoji will appear in your text entry box. Step 5. Tap the "Send" icon to send the crescent moon emoji to the recipient. Animated crescent moon emoji icons will fall down your screen for a few seconds. After all of the crescent moon emoji icons disappear, a message appears at the top of your screen informing you that you've found dark mode. Step 6. Navigate back to your Facebook Messenger home screen and tap your profile icon in the upper left corner of the screen to open your Facebook Messenger settings menu. You'll now see an option at the top of your settings menu for Dark Mode. Step 7. Tap the toggle to the right of Dark Mode to turn the feature on. The Facebook Messenger dark mode color scheme will instantly be applied. The night mode scheme will be applied to all of your Facebook Messenger sections, including your Chat screen, your conversations, your Contacts screen, and your Discover screen.

How to Control Roku with Alexa

04:11
This video shows you how to connect a Roku device to, and control it with, an Amazon Alexa device. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: In March of 2019, the Roku skill was made available for Amazon Alexa devices. The Roku skill makes it possible to link a Roku device with Amazon Alexa, and then designate which of your Alexa devices have the ability to control that Roku device. Additionally, this makes it possible to not just control Roku boxes that are connected to your TV, such as the Roku Ultra, Streaming Stick, and Premiere external devices, but also a Roku TV. Across all Roku devices the skill gives you the ability to launch specific channels, pause a show, perform a search, navigate back to the home screen, and more. However, if your Alexa device is connected to a Roku TV you'll also be able to power the TV on and off, choose a specific over-the-air channel, or adjust the TV's volume. It's worth noting that, as of March 2019, the skill doesn't allow you to interact with the Netflix app. Now let's walk through the steps to connect a Roku device to, and control it with, an Amazon Alexa device. Step 1. Launch the Alexa app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll land on your Alexa home screen. Step 2. Tap the "Menu" icon in the upper left corner of the screen. The Menu icon features three horizontal lines. A menu flies in from the left side of the screen. Step 3. Tap "Skills and Games" in the menu. The Skills and Games screen opens. Step 4. Tap the "Search" icon in the upper right corner of the screen. The Search icon looks like a magnifying glass. The Search screen appears. Step 5. Type "Roku" in the search box and then tap the "Search" button in the lower right corner of the screen. A list of search results appears. Tap "Roku" in the list of results. The Roku skill information screen appears. Step 6. Tap "Enable to Use" in the Roku skill information screen. A Link Account screen appears, prompting you to enter the username and password associated with your Roku account. Enter the requested information, and then tap "Sign In." A screen appears that gives you a high-level overview of what the skill enables. Additionally, this screen also explains that Amazon will receive basic device data to connect your Roku device to Alexa. Tap "Accept and Continue" to agree. Step 7. The next screen will ask you to select which Roku device you want to connect to Alexa. Tap to select the Roku device you want to connect, and then tap "Continue to the Alexa App" to proceed. The next screen will inform you that your Roku device has been successfully linked to Alexa. You'll be returned to the Alexa app, where an Alexa is Looking for Devices screen appears. After Alexa is done scanning for devices, you'll be taken to a Roku screen. Step 8. Tap "Manage and Link Devices" on the Roku screen. A screen appears that will show you what Amazon Alexa devices are linked to your connected Roku device. Tap "Link Another Device" in the Your Linked Devices section. A list of your Roku devices connected to Alexa appears. Step 9. Tap the Roku device you want to link to a specific Alexa device, and then tap "Continue." A list of your Alexa devices appears. Tap to place a check mark to the left of the Alexa devices you want to control your Roku device through, and then tap "Link Devices." How to Find Steam ID

02:48
This video shows you how to find your Steam ID. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: Your Steam ID is a long series of numbers uniquely associated with your Steam account that can't be changed by anyone -- not even Steam employees. If you link your Steam account with other game accounts, this is the number that will be used for Steam. As a result, you may need to supply your Steam ID if you're looking to unlink your accounts. Additionally, there are other scenarios when you contact Steam customer support where a Steam representative may ask for your Steam ID. In this video, I'll show you how to find your Steam ID in the Steam client on your computer. Now let's walk through the steps to find your Steam ID. Step 1. Launch the Steam client on your computer. Step 2. Click "View" in the row of menu options in the upper left corner of the screen to open a drop-down menu. Step 3. Click "Settings" in the View drop-down menu. The Settings screen is displayed. Step 4. Select "Interface" in the list of options on the left side of the screen. Then, on the right side of the Settings window in the Interface options, click to place a check mark to the left of Display Steam URL Address Bar When Available. Step 5. Click "OK" to close the Settings window and return to your Steam home screen. Step 6. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of your Steam profile name in the upper right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu appears. Step 7. Click "View My Profile" in the drop-down menu. A screen displaying your profile information is displayed. Your Steam ID can be found in the green URL displayed in the upper left corner of the screen beneath the row of Steam screen options. Your Steam ID is the long number at the end of the URL. If you don't see a number at the end, then you likely have a custom URL associated with your Steam profile. You'll need to temporarily remove this in order to see your Steam ID. You can do this by clicking "Edit Profile" on the screen displaying your Steam profile information, and then removing whatever value you have in the Custom URL field. Scroll down to the bottom of the Edit Profile screen, and then click Save Changes. Now, when you return to the View My Profile screen, you'll see your Steam ID at the end of the URL.

It's worth noting that if you're streaming your Xbox on your computer, you can't capture a screenshot using the following method, but you can capture a screenshot using traditional screenshot software on your computer. And now, the steps to take a screenshot on Xbox One. Step 1. Launch the game you want to capture a screenshot inside of, and then navigate to the location or position yourself your character how you want them to be when the screenshot is captured. Step 2. The menu on the left side of the screen closes, and a message appears in the lower center part of the screen notifying you that your screenshot has been saved. The message disappears after a few seconds. And now, where to find captured screenshots on your Xbox One. Step 1. Press the "Xbox" button on your Xbox One to display a fly-out menu on the left side of the screen. You can do this whether you're in the middle of a game, or on your console's home screen. Step 2. Use either the left analog stick or the D-pad to move to select the Broadcast & Capture menu along the top of the screen. The Broadcast & Capture icon looks like a half-circle with a WiFi signal coming out of it. Step 3. Select "Capture." The Capture menu appears. Step 4. Select "Manage Captures." How to Change Microsoft OneDrive Folder Location

04:38
This video walks you through how to change your Microsoft OneDrive folder location. As part of this, I'll also show you how to move your Microsoft OneDrive folder location to an external hard drive. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: Hi. I'm Max Dalton, and in this video I'm going to talk through how to change your Microsoft OneDrive folder location. As part of this, I'll also show you how to move your Microsoft OneDrive folder location to an external hard drive. The Microsoft OneDrive application that comes bundled with Windows is a great way to easily access and interact with your OneDrive account. However, the default location inside of your Users folder may not be where you want it -- for a few different reasons. While OneDrive files are synced to your computer by default, they are downloaded locally when you decide to open them, which means they'll take up hard drive space. And if you have a smaller hard drive, that's a problem. Moving the location of the Microsoft OneDrive folder to an external hard drive is one way to solve that problem. And now, the steps to change the location of your Microsoft OneDrive folder in Windows. Step 1. Ensure the OneDrive application is running on your computer. You can verify the OneDrive application is running by looking in the notification tray in the lower right corner of your computer. If you see the OneDrive cloud icon in the notification tray, then the application is running. If you don't see the OneDrive cloud icon, you can launch the application by opening the start menu, navigating to OneDrive in your list of applications, and then clicking "OneDrive." You'll see the cloud icon in your notification tray. Step 2. Right-click the OneDrive icon in your notification tray, and then click "Settings." A Microsoft OneDrive dialog box appears. Step 3. Select the "Account" tab, and then click "Unlink this PC" in the OneDrive section. An Unlink Account On This PC? dialog box pops up. Click "Unlink Account." A Set Up OneDrive screen appears. Close that window for the time being. Step 4. Open Windows Explorer, and then navigate to C:\Users\(PC NAME). OneDrive will appear in this folder. Step 5. Single click to select "OneDrive." Click "Move To" in the ribbon along the top of the Windows Explorer screen. A list of folders appears along the left side of your screen. If you don't see the folder you're looking for where you want to move OneDrive to, click "Change Location" at the bottom of the list. This will bring up a Move Items dialog box where you can navigate to the specific location you want to move OneDrive to. Step 6. Select the location you want to move the OneDrive folder to, and then click "Move." I'm going to choose to move the OneDrive folder to an external hard drive. If you currently have files in your OneDrive folder, you may see a copy dialog box appears that shows the progress of copying those files to the new location. After any files are successfully copied, you'll see the OneDrive folder in its new location. Now, you need to re-link the Microsoft account associated with your OneDrive account to this computer. Step 7. Double-click the OneDrive folder in the new location you moved it to. The Set Up OneDrive window appears. Enter your email address, and then click "Sign In." A screen prompting your for your password appears. Enter your password, and then click "Sign In" again. Step 8. The next screen informs you where it currently identifies your OneDrive folder as being located, which will be associated with your old location and not your new one. Click the blue "Change Location" link. The Choose Your OneDrive Location explorer window appears. Navigate to and select the new location of your OneDrive folder, and then click "Select Folder." The new location will now be reflected on the This is Your OneDrive folder screen. Click the blue "Next" button. Step 9. The next series of screens will walk you through a high-level overview of how to use Microsoft OneDrive. You'll eventually land on a screen that says you're good to go. Click the "Open My OneDrive Folder" link that appears on that screen. An explorer window will open to your new OneDrive folder location. Congratulations! You've successfully changed the location of your Microsoft OneDrive folder.

This video shows you how to stop Skype from starting automatically on your Windows computer. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: The Skype app that comes pre-loaded with the Windows operating system starts automatically when you start your computer. This is frustrating for people who either don't like the idea of a communications service always running on their computer, or just don't like the idea of an application seemingly running without their permission. Thankfully, while it's not intuitive, Microsoft does make it possible to stop Skype from starting automatically when you start your computer. Disabling Skype at startup can be done quickly, and only takes a few clicks. Step 1. Right-click the Windows icon on the left side of your task bar to open a context menu, and then click "Settings" in the context menu. The Windows Settings screen appears. Step 2. Click "Privacy" in the table of options on the Windows Settings screen. The Privacy screen appears. Step 3. Scroll down the menu on the left side of the screen until you arrive at the App Permissions section, and then click "Background Apps" in the Privacy section. Background Apps options appear on the right side of the screen. Step 4. Scroll down the list of apps that are allowed to run in the background until you find Skype. Click the toggle to the right of Skype to set it to Off. Step 5. Restart your computer. Skype will no longer start automatically when you boot up your computer, and as a result, it will also no longer appear in the notification tray until you launch the application.

How to Use Alexa Location Based Reminders and Routines

04:01
This video shows you how to set up and use Alexa location based reminders and Alexa location based routines. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: In late 2018 Amazon updated Alexa to handle location based reminders and location based routines. In order to take advantage of this you will have to give the Alexa app permission to always track your location on your smart device. Alexa location based reminders mean you'll be able to tell your Alexa device to send you a reminder when you arrive at a specific location. Similarly, Alexa location based routines make it possible for you to build Alexa routines that run based on when you either arrive at or leave a specific location. Now let's walk through the steps to set up and use Alexa location based reminders and Alexa location based routines. Step 1. Tap to launch the Amazon Alexa app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android smart device. Your Alexa home screen appears. Step 2. Tap the "Menu" icon in the upper left corner of the home screen. The Menu icon features three horizontal lines. A menu flys in from the left side of the screen. Step 3. Tap "Settings" in the menu. The Settings screen appears. Step 4. Tap "Your Locations" in the Settings menu. The Your Locations screen appears. You'll see options to enter your home address, work address, and additional locations. Step 5. For example, I'll tap "Home Address" to add my home address. The Add Location screen appears. Enter the address you want to use in the Search for Name or Address field at the top of the screen. As you type, a list of matching addresses appears directly beneath the text entry box. Tap the address you're entering when it appears. You'll return to the initial Add Location screen. Tap "Save." You'll return to the Your Locations screen, where you'll now see the home address you added appear beneath Home. Alternatively, you can tap "Add Location" to add a new location. If you haven't previously enabled location sharing for the Amazon Alexa app on your smart device, you may see a prompt to do that. Tap "Allow" when you're prompted to always allow location sharing between Alexa and your smart device. Tap "Always Allow" if another dialog box appears prompting you to allow Alexa to access your location on your smart device. As you add locations, you'll be able to tell Alexa to set reminders or you can build routines associated with those locations. For example, now that I've set my home address and it has the name Home, I can take advantage of location based reminders such as, "Alexa, remind me to call dad when I get home" or "Alexa, remind me to unlock the front door when I get home." Whenever Alexa detects that you've arrived at your location, you'll receive a reminder on your smart devices where the Amazon Alexa app is installed and tracking your location. For location based routines, when building a new routine, tap "When This Happens" on the New Routine screen to open the When This Happens screen. Tap "Arrive or Leave" in this screen to view the When This Device screen. In this screen, you can define if a part of your routine should kick off when you leave or arrive at a specific location to add that piece to your Alexa routine.

JBL Charge 4 vs JBL Flip 4

04:54
In this video I compare the JBL Charge 4 to the JBL Flip 4 to help you figure out which JBL Bluetooth speaker is right for you. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: The JBL Charge 4 and the JBL Flip 4 are both great speakers that offer a lot of the same functionality and features. For example, both speakers are IPX7 waterproof, support Bluetooth 4.2, and can be connected to other JBL speakers using JBL Connect. However, there are some differences between the speakers, and in this video I'll dive into what those differences are. First, we'll discuss the general form factor of each device. The JBL Charge 4 looks and feels like a much bigger device than the JBL Flip 4. The JBL Charge 4 weighs in at just over two pounds, while the JBL Flip 4 weighs in at just over one pound. Most people can comfortably carry the JBL Flip 4 around in one hand, but because of its size, you may not be able to do that with the Charge 4. The JBL Charge 4 has a stand on the bottom that comfortably supports the device. Alternatively the JBL Flip 4 rests on a plastic piece that runs across the back of the device. Both JBL Bluetooth speakers have a similar appearance, wrapped in the same wire and mesh combination, with an orange, metal plate on the front featuring the JBL logo. Now, we'll look at button access. The buttons on both the JBL Charge 4 and JBL Flip 4 are easy to access, but are in different places. All of the buttons on the Charge 4 run along the top of the device, with the Power and Bluetooth buttons being the easiest to see in the center. Alternatively, the volume, Play, and Bluetooth buttons sit just above the bar that runs across the back of the JBL Flip 4, while the Power and JBL Connect buttons are built into the plastic bar. One of the most convenient aspects of the JBL Charge 4 is the location of the LED lights that indicate the battery status. These five LED lights are located along the base of the Charge 4 on the front of the device. Alternatively, the five LED lights that indicate battery status on the JBL Flip 4 are located on the back of that device, making them harder to see. Next, let's look at the difference in audio quality between the JBL Charge 4 and the JBL Flip 4. The JBL Charge 4 features roughly twice as much audio output power as the JBL Flip 4 and offers a deeper, richer bass sound. However, while the Flip 4 doesn't pack as much punch, it produces a cleaner and more crisp sound, and higher pitches don't get overrun by the bass, which can happen on the Charge 4. The added power of the JBL Charge 4 is nice, but the washed out sounds that can result from the pronounced bass is frustrating. Now let's do a quick sound test between the JBL Charge 4 and the JBL Flip 4. Here's a 10 second audio sample on the Charge 4. And here's the same 10 second sound clip on the Flip 4. You be the judge. Now let's talk about power and ports. The JBL speakers both take roughly four hours to fully charge, however you'll get roughly 20 hours of playback with the Charge 4 and 12 hours from the Flip 4. The ports are located on the back of each speaker, concealed behind a rubber flap. The JBL Flip 4 offers a micro USB cable for charging, and a 3.5 millimeter port for connecting your speaker to other devices, such as a laptop. Alternatively, the JBL Charge 4 offers a USB Type C port for charging your device, a 3.5 millimeter port for connecting external devices to your Bluetooth speaker, and a USB port you can use to charge other devices, which is something the JBL Flip 4 doesn't offer. Thanks for watching this video comparing the JBL Charge 4 speaker to the JBL Flip 4 speaker. Leave your thoughts and questions in the comments section below. How to Connect Amazon Echo Dot to Bluetooth Speaker

02:43
This video walks you through how to connect your Amazon Echo Dot with a Bluetooth speaker. See more videos by Max here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MaxDalton Video Transcript: Hi. I'm Max Dalton, and in this video I'm going to talk through how to pair a Bluetooth speaker with your Amazon Echo Dot. While the Amazon Echo Dot can do a lot of amazing things, one of its most lackluster features is its underwhelming built-in speaker. One way to give your Echo Dot's audio a boost is to connect it to a more powerful Bluetooth speaker so the audio can come through it. Let's walk through how to connect your Amazon Echo Dot to another Bluetooth speaker. Step 1. Open the Amazon Alexa app on your smart device. You'll arrive at your Amazon Alexa home screen. Step 2. Tap the "Menu" icon in the upper left corner of the screen. The Menu icon looks like three horizontal lines. A menu flys out from the left side of the screen. Step 3. Tap "Settings" in the list of menu items. The Settings screen opens. Tap the name of your Echo Dot in your list of devices that you want to connect to a Bluetooth speaker in the Devices section. The Settings screen for that specific device appears. Step 4. Put the Bluetooth device you want to pair with your Amazon Echo Dot in discovery mode. This process will be different from device to device. In this example, I'll use a JBL Flip 4 speaker. I'll put it in discovery mode by holding down the "Bluetooth" button on the top of the speaker. Step 5. Immediately after you put the Bluetooth device you want to pair with your Amazon Echo Dot in discovery mode, tap "Bluetooth" in the Settings screen for your Echo Dot. The Bluetooth Devices section appears. Step 6. Tap the blue "Pair a New Device" button at the bottom of the screen. A Searching message appears, and detected Bluetooth devices will slowly appear in a list on the screen. When the Bluetooth speaker you want to pair with the Amazon Echo Dot appears, tap it. In this example, I'll tap "JBL Flip 4." The Bluetooth speaker you selected will now appear in the list of connected Bluetooth devices, and will be automatically connected to your Echo Dot. Alexa's voice will announce over your connected Bluetooth speaker that your Echo Dot is now connected to this device. Additionally, Alexa will also say that to connect your Echo Dot to this Bluetooth speaker going forward, you'll just need to say "Connect my speaker." Congratulations! You've successfully connected your Amazon Echo Dot to a Bluetooth speaker.
